"Where's your boss?" Bungad ko sa secretary ni Artemis. Nilibot ko na ang buong Resort pero hindi ko talaga siya makita.

Napaigtad sa gulat ang secretary niya. Nataranta siya nang makita ako.

"U-uh, may urgent meeting po siya sa work. Pero pina-extend niya ang vacation ng mga workers hanggang bukas kaya siya na lang ang nag-asikaso." Sunod sunod nitong sabi.

I let out a breath in relief. She's at work, that's good. Although I was disappointed that I didn't see her this morning, I thought that I still had plenty of time to be with her.

Just wait for me.

"Thank you." Ngiting sabi kaya tumango tango ito. Napatulala ito ng ilang sandali.

Sumakay ako sa elevator at kinuha ang phone mula sa bulsa. When the elevator opened, I proceeded to the exit of the resort. I caught everyone's attention because my security team followed me.

"Yes, ma'am?" The person answered my call finally.

"Are they already in the house?" I was pertaining to my whole family. I'm expecting to see them in the house, it's urgent. They can't say no.

"Good." I ended the call.

"The car." I ordered my assistant.

Mabilis na pumarada ang kotse sa harapan ko. Binuksan ko na ang pinto ng kotse at pumasok na. Tumingin sa akin ang driver gamit ng front mirror.

"Saan po tayo, ma'am?"

"To my parents' house." Maikling sabi ko.

The fury made my system in heat. I feel like I'm losing my mind. Ayoko na patagalin pa ito. Pakiramdam ko ay magdidilim ang paningin ko kapag napatunayan ko na ang katotohanan sa mismong mga bibig nila.

Kanina pa tumatawag ang mga relatives ko. Ngayon naman ang tatay ko. Nagbuntong hininga ako at sinagot iyon.

"Leigh, what is happening? Is this really urgent? Do you really have to call all of our family members?" Nalilitong sabi niya.

"Have Loren and Grace arrived there yet?" I didn't answer his multiple unnecessary questions.

"Oo, kakarating lang ni Grace galing pa sa Singapore."

Tumango ako. Nananatili ang paningin ko sa harapan, blanko ang tingin at hinihintay na makarating sa bahay.

I heard my father's sigh on the line.

"I can understand what you're doing now. Alam mo na?" He asked.

Kumunot ang noo ko sa inis.

"You knew about this? Don't tell me pati ikaw ay may pakana nito?" There's a hint of threat in my voice.

"No, no, anak. Your grandma sent me out of the country, remember? They didn't tell me anything. I had no idea on what's happening until your mom confessed about it-"

"Mom? Ano ang kinalaman niya dito?"

He kept silent. But he was sighing heavily, mukhang nahihirapang ituloy ang sasabihin. I ended the call right away.

I scoffed sarcastically. I clenched my jaw and pressed my eyes shut. Unbelievable. Ano pa ang hindi ko nalalaman?

Kumirot ang dibdib ko habang iniisip ang tungkol doon. Kung sino pa ang mas pinagkakatiwalaan ko, sila pa mismo ang tatraydor sa'yo. What did I ever do wrong? Nagmahal lang naman ako, bakit kailangan pa humantong sa ganito?
