Sindie was right, Leigh was just forced by her family to be with me. This is her way to get revenge, crushing me into pieces. She really made sure that I would crumble this time.

She acted like she cares, she acted like she was happy with me, and she acted like she could be my person to lean on. But it's all just for the show.

She planned all of this. The center of her plan was to make me fall harder on her so she can break me into my core, which is damn great because I can feel myself breaking down now.

So this is how it feels huh? To be rejected and to be humiliated again.

And maybe Sindie told her about my craziness. Siguro sinabi ni Sindie sa kanya ang pagiging assumera ko na gusto rin ako ni Leigh. That's why Leigh used those words to attack back.

Mapait ako tumango tango habang tumutulo ang ma luha ko sa lupa.

Nakakainis naman, sana hindi ko na lang sinabi ang mga kabaliwan ko na iyon. Ngayon ako tuloy ginantihan.

Natawa ako nang pagak.

Maybe Leigh just misunderstood something that's why she told those things to me? Maybe she was just mad at me because she still thought that I helped Leyna?

There's a hope in myself that believes in that thought even though I knew it was impossible.

I told her that I hate expecting too much, it's my weakness. But I guess she used that advantage to hurt me.

Akala ko nagawa ko na eh, akala ko nakuha ko na ang loob niya. In the end, I failed in my mission. I was the one who got hurt and fell on my knees.

"Oh damn it..." Natawa ako nang mapait.

I can't believe that this happened.

Should I follow her? Kahit malaman ko lang ang rason kung bakit niya nasabi ang mga iyon sa akin.

Tumingin ako sa paligid. Walang tao ako namataan, wala rin si Leigh. I guess they already left, I mean, of course they would, I've been staying here for 30 minutes.

Nagbuntong hininga na lang ako at pumasok sa aking sasakyan. Nakita ko na wala na ang motor ni Leigh doon. I bit my bottom lip when another tear fell down.

Walang emosyon ang mukha ko habang nagmamaneho patungo sa bahay ni Hadrian. Pagkalabas ko ng sasakyan ay nakita ko si Delian mukhang paalis na. Nagulat pa ito nang makita ako.

Akala ko umalis na siya kanina pa. Umiwas ako ng tingin. Kamalas-malasan, ngayon pa talaga.

"Oh? Bakit ka bumalik?" Sabi niya sa akin at sinundan ako ng tingin.

Tutuloy sana ako papasok pero hinuli niya ang braso ko.

"Did you cry, Artemis?" Biglang sumeryoso ang kanyang tono. Hinahabol niya ang aking mga mata.

"No--"

"Your eyes are red and puffy. Who made you cry?" Humakbang siya palapit sa akin.

Kinagat ko ang ibabang labi ko para pigilan ang luha na tumulo. Pumapasok ulit sa isipan ko ang mga huling sinabi ni Leigh. Kaunting kalabit na lang ay maghahagulhol na naman ako.

"Am I really that bad person?" Umangat ang tingin ko sa kanya.

Nagulat siya sa aking sinabi. Napatitig siya sa akin. He watched me as my tears fell down on my cheeks.

"Do I deserve the pain for the sin I didn't do?" I asked him. He cursed under his breath. He pulled me for a hug.

"Who made you cry like this, Artemis?"
