"Why is your family like that?" Asik ni Hades habang naglalakad patungo sa kanyang sasakyan. Nakasunod sa amin si Delian at Heidi.

Umiwas ako ng tingin at napayakap na lamang sa sarili nang umihip ang malakas at malamig na hangin sa gawi namin.

"They have always been like that..." Bulong ko habang nasa ibaba ang paningin. I can still feel my pulse increase, I don't think I can calm myself anymore.

After what happened? This will be a restless night for me. They already knew everything, what should I do? Why do I feel like I was trapped in a danger zone and I can't get out?

"Kapal ng mukha ng Jake na 'yon. Ah, teka nga lang, babalikan ko nga-" I threw a sharp glance to Delian to stop him.

"Don't, lumaki na nga yung gulo, papalain mo pa. They saw your gun, you know how much impact it will affect them." Buntong hininga kong sabi. I heard him scoff.

They're not used in that lifestyle. My Levinson side would probably relate with that but not my mother's side. They would freak out and become hysterical.

Tumitig ako sa itaas, I closed my eyes as I felt the energy from the moon. Their words kept repeating in my mind. I opened my eyes. Hadrian, Delian and Heidi are standing in front of me, my chest tightened and feeling emotional again.

Maybe it's because I got saved by someone again. It's just not someone, it's literally three of them who saved me at my worst. The feeling of being saved and protected, it's unexplainable.

I was so thankful because they came for me. If I had people like them in my past, maybe somehow, my young self could've been saved. I smiled bitterly.

"Magpasalamat ka dahil humarang ang gagong 'yon. Dahil kapag nagkataon, ang pamilya mo ang unang makakatanggap ng bala mula sa baril ko." Seryosong sabi ni Delian habang binubuksan ang sasakyan ni Hades.

Natigilan kami lahat sa sinabi niya. Hindi ko alam kung bakit tumaas ang balahibo ko sa katawan. I know he's just bluffing but I got this feeling that he might actually do that.

"You won't do that." Wala sa sarili kong sabi kaya napahinto siya sa pagpasok sa sasakyan.

He looked at me and his lips parted in sarcastic and amusement. He smirked at me. He lifted his gun and pointed its tip on his head as if he's demonstrating something.

"You don't want to test me, Artemis. I can fucking pull this trigger and watch how the bullet comes straight in your mother's forehead without a blink of an eye." Then he pointed the gun towards the venue where my family is.

"Delian!" I yelled at him because I panicked. I'm not exaggerating, he's an excellent sharp shooter! Pwede niya totohanin ang sinabi niya kahit nasa labas siya ngayon.

"K-kuya..." Mahinang usal ni Heidi at kumapit sa kapatid.

"Alright, we're done with this conversation." Pigil agad sa amin ni Hades. But Delian ignored him, he took a step close to me.

"What were you thinking, Artemis?! Why don't you fight back? We all know that you're the most sadistic among us!" He exclaimed. Natigilan ako doon.

"I-I... I can't just hurt them." I know my limitations. I'm more powerful than them, yes I'm aware of that. But I can't risk my identity just because of that, and using my ability against powerless people is wrong.

"But you're letting them hurt you instead, that's it? There's a purpose why you're chosen, Artemis. If it's necessary, then hurt them back!" He reasoned out.

Napatulala ako sa sinabi niya. I slowly shook my head.

"They're my family." I murmured. He cursed under his breath.
