Part - 22

Next morning

Arya and Mini woke up earlier than usual (can happen sometimes 😂). Mini went to Arya's room as Keya was sleeping there and Arya went to Neil's room to wake them up. Mini sat next to Keya and placed her hand on her head.

Mini: Good morning, Keya!
She woke up at once but was still in a little sleep.

Keya: Good morning.

Mini: Keya, aapko theek se neend aa gayi thi kal?

Keya nodded her head in affirmative.

Mini: Chalo ab uth jaao. Abhi hum bahar ghumne jaaenge!

Keya: Kahan par?

Mini: Pehle ready ho jaao, phir batati hoon.

On the other side, Neil was in deep sleep and Arya failed to wake him up.

Arya: Neil, kitna sote ho tum! Uth jaao

Neil (in a sleepy voice): Please chhoti madam, let me sleep.

Mini came there.

Mini: Oye chhutanki, kya kar rahi ho tum? Isey uthane ke liye bola tha naa!

Arya: Main kya karu, nahi uth raha Neil. Veer Balika, tum uthao naa isey.

Mini: Achha tum jaao, get ready.

Arya left.

Mini: Neil, get up! Kitna sona hai aur...Neil Oberoi!!

Neil was getting disturbed due to constant voices. Still in sleep, he unknowingly held Mini's hand and brought her closer. Mini's one hand was on his shoulder and the other one fell on his chest. She kept on looking at his peaceful face for a couple of minutes but soon came to her senses and got up.

Mini: Neil Oberoi uth jaao, we're getting late. (She shook him and he got up from his sleep)

Neil: Kya hai yaar, kyun subah subah utha deti ho! Tum dono behane ek shareef insaan ko sone bhi nahi deti.

Mini: Yeh drama band karo aur ready ho jaao.

Neil: Kahan jaa rahein hum?

Mini: Ready ho kar bahar ajao, pata chal jaayega.

Neil: Yaar tum kabhi bhi seedha seedha batati kyun nahi ho!

Mini: Tumhe seedhi baat samajh kahan aati hai. Ab baatein baad mein karna, c'mon, get ready!

She left.

Neil (to self): Hitler kahin ki!

They all got ready and soon met in the hall.

Mini: Chalein?

Neil: Arre par jana kahan hai? Kuch bologi?

Mini: Tum itne impatient kyun ho rahe ho? Achha suno, Arya aur maine decide kia hai ki ab se hum daily subah jaldi uthenge aur morning walk par jaya karenge...aur kyunki aaj Keya bhi hai aur hum aaj se start kar rahe hain toh aaj sirf park mein jaa kar enjoy karenge...Arya and Keya can play in the park and we'll go for a walk. Uske baad hum ghar aake breakfast karenge, jo tum banaoge, Neil Oberoi and then we'll go for a movie...what say Keya?

Keya happily nodded.

Neil: What? Tumne iske liye mujhe itni subah utha dia?

Mini: Haan toh? Morning walk subah hi hoti hai. Aur kitna sote ho tum. Change your routine!

Neil: Excuse me! Yeh tum bol rahi ho?

Mini: Haan, main bol rahi hoon! Ab time waste mat karo, let's go.

Neil: Par aaj Keya ne wapas bhi jaana hai.

Mini: Haan toh hum free ho jaayenge dopahar tak. You can drop her home after the movie.

Neil: Wah ji wah! Ek toh meri neend kharab kar di woh bhi iss morning walk ke liye aur phir ghar aake main breakfast bhi banau aur uske baad movie dekhne bhi jaau and on top of that I'll have to drive her to Delhi and come back home. Wow Mini madam! Mera toh pura schedule tight hai aaj ka.

Mini: Kaise se ho tum! Ek din ke liye itna bhi nahi kar sakte...(whispered, so that Keya couldn't hear her) Neil, it's for Keya after all! Aur kaun keh raha hai tumhe drive karne ke liye? Just book a cab!

Neil looked at Keya who was all excited for the day and he smiled slightly.

Neil: Let's go!

Mini: 😊

They went to the park. While Arya and Keya enjoying the rides, Neil and Mini sat on a bench, adoring the little girls.

Neil: You were right, Mini! Zaroori tha yahan aana bhi... Keya ko aise pehle kabhi nahi dekha maine.

Mini: I'm always right, Neil Oberoi!

Neil: Yes ma'am! Walk?

Mini: Let's go! 😊

While walking in the park...

Neil: Mini, this is so beautiful! This serene beauty in this lovely environment, is so peaceful.

Mini: I know, we should come daily to the park. Not just to enjoy the nature's beauty but also to stay fit! Nahi toh tum sara din yaa toh kitchen mein hote ho yaa sote rahete ho.

Neil: Please spare my kitchen, Mini madam! Kitchen mein rahena mera kaam hai, it's my profession. Aur ek thaka hara rasoiya ghar aa kar toh chain ki neend deserve karta hai naa?

Mini: Haan, karta hai deserve, par utni neend hi jitni zaroorat ho. Tumhe toh koi naa uthaye toh tum sote hi raho... I remember tumne kaha tha...tumne khud yeh baat kahi thi ki agar tumhe koi uthaye naa toh tum sote hi rahoge.

Neil: Right, par Mini Madam aapke muh se aisi gyan ki baatein achhi nahi lagti. Especially yeh jaldi uthne wali baat toh bilkul bhi nahi.

Mini: 😲 Oh hello, What do you mean?

Neil: I mean exactly what I'm saying!

They burst out laughing. After having breakfast at home and resting for a while, they went for a movie. They had a great time together, clicked pictures with Arya and Keya and made some beautiful memories. It was time for Keya to return back.

Mini: Neil, kuch baat karni thi. Woh...maine Keya ke liye ek gift liya tha. Par, socha dene se pehle ek baar tumse puch lu. Nahi matlab, main dedu aur pata nahi Isha kaise react kare...so...

Neil: Don't think so much, Mini! Tumne uske liye itne pyar se kuch liya toh zaroor do. And forget about Isha or how she would react! Don't think about her. Waise maine bhi ek gift liya hai Keya ke liye. Come, sath mein dete hain.

Mini: 😊

Both of them gifted Keya. She happily took her gifts and thanked them. Later, Neil went to Delhi to drop Keya home. Mini too, wanted to go but stayed back for Arya.

As Keya has gone back, it's time for Neil to give some cookery classes to Mini. But what will happen when Mini enters the kitchen? (You all can guess that, right?😂)
