As Neil was about to take the first sip of the soup, Biji shook his shoulder.
Biji: Neil!! Kya hua beta?
Neil: (confused) Biji aap abhi Mi...
Biji: Teri tabiyat abhi bhi theek nahi hai beta. Chal ab soup pi le aur aaram kar.
Neil realised that it was his hallucination and Mini wasn't there.
Neil: Main pi lunga Biji.
Biji: Chal theek hai. Jaldi pi lena nahi toh thanda ho jayega.
She was leaving but stopped as she remembered something.
Biji: Aur haan! Mini ka phone aaya tha. Baat kar lena.
Mini: K...kya keh rahi thi woh?
Biji: Preet ne baat ki thi. Mujhe toh pata nahi kuch. Haan par usey pata hai teri tabiyat ka.
Biji left. Neil was tensed as he knew how Mini would react.
Neil: (to himself) Chal Neil! Be ready for non stop questions.
He called her. Mini picked the call immediately as she was already waiting for his call.
Mini: Hello Neil! Kaisi tabiyat hai ab? Yeh fever kaise ho gaya? Tum...tum meri koi baat sunte nahi ho naa! Kaha tha maine ki main theek hoon. Lekin nahi! Itna kaun sochta hai Neil? Kyun itna tension aur stress liya hua hai? Already kam responsibilities hai tum par jo ek aur tension le rakhi hai? Ab chup kyun ho? Kuch bologe?
Neil: Tum chup karogi toh bolunga naa main kuch! Relax Mini. Main theek hoon. Thoda sa fever tha aur kuch nahi. Ghar aa kar rest kar liya, now I am absolutely fine. In fact, abhi Biji ne soup bhi pilaya mujhe. Aur ab main bilkul theek hoon.
Mini didn't say anything. She had tears in her eyes.
Neil: Mini? Are you there?
Mini: Hmm.
Neil: Don't worry Mini madam. I'm absolutely fine now. (A short pause) Kya hua ab?
Mini: I want one promise from you. Tum ab se yeh bekaar ki baatein nahi sochoge! And you will take care of yourself.
Neil: Okay. I promise. Nahi sochunga. Tum shayad theek hi bol rahi thi. Main zyada soch raha tha. Achha yeh sab chhodo. Ek kaam ki baat! Actually restaurant mein...
Mini: Chup! Bilkul chup kar jaao. Iske aage kuch nahi bologe tum. Aur koi kaam vaam nahi abhi.
Neil: Lekin Mini main theek hoon ab.
Mini: Who are you to decide that? Neil Oberoi, yeh doctor ko decide karne do! Tum jahan baithe ho wahan se uthna bhi mat. I'm warning you!
Neil: Arre par meri health ke baare mein mujhe toh pata hoga naa!
Mini: Woh sab mujhe nahi pata. Jab tak doctor khud confirm nahi kar dete that you're fit and fine, tab tak no restaurant, no other work!
