I was stunned. With my head hung low I head home. It's hard to interact with an angry Elle.

Back in those days, she was so angry that she ended up crying. Actually that situation was funny but at the same time I was concerned for her.

This time it's not funny.

I have to fix this.

The next day as usual Elle avoided looking into my eyes or at me.

Fuck this shit is so suffocating.

I want her to look at me. Moreover she talks so less than usual.

How about I order her to complete some files right here in my cabin?

And maybe after work I can confront her about that day. Because she needs to know the truth.

As for Aubrey, I am gonna dig a big hole for her. I'll make sure she is away from me and Elle.

And with that in my mind I focused on work again.

After a while I thought about checking up on Elle to see what she was upto.

I opened her cabin door to see Liam sitting next to Elle on the couch. They were both arranging some files.

Why is he always next to her? Oh didn't he say he had feelings for Elle? Well..

I cleared my throat. Elle flinched slightly and Liam looked at me. Both of them stood up.

"O-oh sir, is there anything I can help you with?"

She kept her gaze low.

I felt the urge to ask her why was he here but I controlled myself.

"Um, I guess the files are arranged, I'll get going Miss Miller."

Said Liam a bit reluctantly and walked past me outside the cabin.

My shoulders relaxed. I walked in her cabin.

"Why was he here?"

"He was...here to help me with the files?"

"Why? You couldn't do it alone?"

"A-actually...um Yes I could but my hand ached so.."
