I yawned loudly as my eyes travelled to the wall clock.

It was my birthday today.

Well, good. I'll spend it just like how I do every year.

By eating a pastry or a small cake.

I shrugged. I wonder if my friends knew about my birthday. I don't remember telling them about it.

I'll tell them today.

As usual I reached at the office and head straight to my cabin.

On my way I wished a 'Good morning' to a few people.

I was kind of disappointed because my parents didn't wish me yet.

Dad used to be the first person to call me. I guess it slipped from their minds.

As I opened my cabin, I was engulfed by a sweet smell. I sniffed carefully.

This is unusual. As I set my bag down, I noticed two black boxes, with huge ribbon tied neatly on top of it.

It looked so good! But who could have given this?

Enzo? Does he even remember my birthday? I sighed.

I'll just open it in the lunch.

With that in my mind, I started working .

Time flew by fast and it was lunch break already.

As I was about to step out, Mia barged in the room with Tristan following.

I gasped softly, a small smile instantly forming on my lips.

"Happy Birthday cutie!!"

Mia squealed, hugging me tightly.

"Thank you so much Mia!"

"My baby is 26 now right?"

I slowly nodded, shocked at how she knew about my birthday.

"Happy Birthday Elle."

Said Tristan, as he slowly engulfed me in his arms.

"Thank you Tristan."

I too wrapped my arms around him, with a wide smile.

We all settled on the couch.
