IV

changmin sat on his bed as chanhee sat on the chair at the orange hairs desk.
     there was a moment of silence before changmin spoke up.
     "so, whats youre name?" changmin asked.
     the pink-haired tilted his head a bit at the younger, laughing a bit. "seriously, you dont remember?"
     changmins ears turned red from embarrassment as he let out a couple stutters when trying to say his next sentence. "no yeah, no i remember. i um, i dont know why i asked that." changmin said quickly, avoiding eye contact.
     "chanhee. my name is chanhee." the pink-haired had said.
     "yeah yeah, i knew that. i just asked to get a conversation going." changmin reassured.
     chanhee chuckled a bit before looking around the youngers room. looking at the photos scattered across his walls.
     "who are in those photos?" chanhee asked, pointing to a wall filled with them.
     changmin stood up and walked over to the wall, "hm. i havent seen these photos in a long time to be honest." changmins said.
     "photos of my family and i, some just me. most of them are me and my childhood friend though, i only saw him once then he just never came back." changmin said softly.
     "i didnt expect him to come back though, nobody really does. people only rent the houses. my parents and i are the only ones who actually own a house."
     changmin turned around and looked at chanhee who seemed to be listening attentively. "did you rent too?"
     chanhee nodded softly, "yeah i did. ive been here when i was younger. barely remember it, it was only for one summer."
     "hm. thats usually how it is for everybody else too. quite glad youre my age, the other kids who came here were either much more older or much more younger. what a miracle." changmin said, sitting back down on his bed.
     chanhee smiled and nodded, "i guess it is a miracle. ill keep you company for these next three months."
     changmin sat up and looked at chanhee.
     "wanna hang out tomorrow?"
