She waited for him to leave while still holding the principal's tie firmly but then realized what her husband just said.

She sighed and turned her gaze back to the principal who was sweating from nervousness.
Mom: Oof, anyways, where were we on? Oh right, somEONE's making innocents being suspended for...for TWO WEEKS!
Her grip on his tie tightened.
Principal: S-s-sorry m-m'am- but-but it's the r-rules...
Mom: Rules? RULES? WHAT RULES! The ones in the hospital literally are the one who started the fight.
The principal was fighting to protest but he feared mom's next actions.
Mom: And, AND DON'T YOU DARE say a word or I'm cutting.

To the principal's great relief, mom finally let go off his tie and backed away and the man could finally control his heart rate.
