"You reckon Kara's gonna be back soon?" Alaia asked, keeping an eye on the monitors whilst she continued to code something to add to the DEO's security.

"Missing her already?" Chris chuckled.

"Yes, and Barry. And poor Adie, she's so sick right now, I can't imagine how it feels." Alaia frowned, pity filling her.

"I know but we'll just have to hold onto the hope that Barry and Kara will make it back on time." Chris said, right before a flashing alert had covered the screens.

Alaia wasted no time, rushing to check the security cameras to see a set of familiar faces.

"Oh Rao." Alaia mumbled, turning the alert off before rushing through the corridors and around each DEO agent.

"Where... are we?" One of the voices asked.

"Ali?! Tyler? Ari- What are you guys doing here?!" Chris had asked upon seeing them immediately.

"Oh thank god you guys are safe." one of the girls had said, rushing towards Alaia and engulfing her into a tight hug.

"You guys were taking time and we were worried so we decided to come and check on you guys." Tyler had responded.

"And Hades? Melody? The onus?!" Chris asked.

"Yuki and Seb are keeping watch of home. They managed to get Adie and Anna to help too as well as Rachel, Kamala and they called Tara. Our world is in alright hands." Ariana said.

"Oh thank god." Alaia said.

"Plus we have these devices, they can alert us if they need us and we'll rush back at any given moment." Aliya said.

"I think we all need to catch up." Alaia said.

"Yes, but not here. Lets go before someone catches you guys." Chris said.

"Too late. You're gonna start explaining. Now." Alex said, stood at the door way as the 5 all traded worried looks.

"I remember this flower! It was a... Dar Essa!" Kara recalled. "You kept one in my room when I was little."

"It was a gift from your grandmother for your birthday." Alura had added.

"Yeah, you used to measure it to see how tall it was. It was erm... wasn't it supposed to erm..." Kara had gleefully spoke, an attempt to remember.

"Grow as you grow?" Alura had finished. "Yes, I got it for you when you were so little but you... outsped the Dar Essa. You... grew so tall so fast."

"I can't believe it survived the fall..." Kara said.

"It's strong... like you." Alura spoke softly, Kara turning and giving her a warm, genuine smile.

"I feel as though I've let you down." Alura confessed.

"Mom..." Kara had shaken her head in disagreement.

"No, please. I- I shouldn't have accepted that you died. I always taught you to hope but... I gave up so fast." Alura responded.
