Chapter 15

"Sooo, how long do we need to walk." I asked her.
"Well will reach there soon, don't ask me that anymore. Or else I'll punish you." She glared at me.
Seeeesh, okay woman. Just when I thought this day couldn't get any worse. First being woken up by a small bag full of equipment thrown to the face then forced to walk to a near by city church.
I looked to our side seeing the horse pulling the carriage full of weapons, enough for a small army and my hard work.
The marvels of magecraft, letting a single horse pull that amount of weight.

"Sooo, how are we going to enter the city?"
I asked her.
I took another look towards the carriage, weapons threatening to fall off.
"They will let us in."
"With magecraft?" I asked once more.
"No."
"Soo, is this normaly allowed?"
"No"
Is the city run by the church?
If it is , I really hope they don't try to convert me.
I shivered. This reminds me of the overzealous believers in the modern day, really obnoxious.
"Is the city run by the church?" I was really curious.
"In the shadows."
Hmhmmm, mid-evil politics, it can't be as bad as the modern days politics.

*I thinks of a certain country*
Cough , cough
(Time skip "-" )
"You know when you say a city, I wasn't expecting a fortress city. Is there really a need for it." I stared at the huge walls that surround the place.
"Don't ask me, we are just here for business."my teacher answers me.
Reaching the gate we were greeted by the gatekeeper.
"Hello there travelers, may I ask what is your business here." The gatekeeper asks.
I looked at my teacher as she handed him some papers.
"Hmm, Yes! We were expecting you to come here. You may proceed."
And so I guided the horse into the city.
"I-Is that the church?" My finger wobbled slightly pointing at the cathedral at the very end of the city. Kinda like a castle.
"Yes."
"But that's a cathedral." I pointed out.
"Same difference. It's a bigger church."
Damn okay, I took a look around, the streets filled with people, selling, buying and a couple of bards scattered around the place.
Weird that none of them are giving us any stares.
"This place seems fishy."
"We're just here for business."
My teacher said once more.
"Hmhmm." I nodded.
Once more I looked up, if my luck was is bed as I think this would be a place for evil priests or maybe even higher.
You think I could gain their favour through
Mapu tofu?
And so we enter though the huge door.
"Go there and sit." She pointed towards the chairs.
"Okay."
Looking around, I see another blond girl praying.
'Well this should be interesting'
