Chapter 12

Jennie's POV

When we arrive at the school, we walk up and pay for two tickets in the basketball game. since we go to the school, it's only 300Won, which is awesome.

Nayeon and I walk up the stands and find a place to sit. The music is blasting and everyone is talking about the game. Finally, we find a seat and start to look around. I finally spot Lisa sitting with Nancy towards the bottom right of the bleachers. I can see the back of their heads but when Nancy turns her head to Lisa, I can see her face.

The boys run into the court and the crowd starts to go wild. I look and see Lisa and Nancy are clapping and cheering. I clap as well, looking around then I saw Jungkook, giving a flying kiss to Lisa. Ehh?

When the game was in half time, Nayeon asked me to go get a snack with her. I agree and look at the score quick. Our team is winning by six.

As I walk down the bleachers with her, I turn my head quickly to look at Lisa. Her eyes are already on me so our eyes lock immediately. Nancy notices her looking somewhere and before I knew it, she was looking at me to. She squints her eyes, clearly not happy to see my face.

Well I'm not happy to see her either so its a tie.

I look away, making sure I don't bump into anyone as Nayeon and I walk down to the snack table.

"Mandu I saw Lisa looking at you." she nudges me with her elbow and winks. I shake my head, walking beside my dumbass best friend.

"We're just friends." I sigh, honestly wishing we were more. She's one of the nicest person I've ever met. She's so wholesome.

"hmm." she hums before going up to the snack table and asking for something. A kit kat or something I think. I stand beside her, watching as she gets the candy and pays.

As I turn around, I almost bump into someone but I stop myself. I adjust my eyes to the person in front of me and see it's Lisa. She smiles, holding her hands in front of her, and extending her arms down.

"Hi Jennie." she says, her cute smile not leaving her face.

"Hey." I smile back, glancing over at Nayeon. She opens her eyes wide and quickly walks away, going back to the bleachers.

What the hell bunny!? My eyes switch back to Lisa who's standing so innocently in front of me.

"I uh, I wanted to ask you something." she says and my chest starts to get that tingly feeling. she tends to make me nervous a lot. What could she want to ask me now?

"okay, what's up?" I ask sweetly. She looks back at the court quick before turning back to me.

"I uhm would you like to come over my house tomorrow?" she asks, talking quickly almost like she's nervous. Lisa Manoban nervous around me???

"You mean to like...hang out?" I gulp, shocked She's asking me to hang out.

"Yeah I think it would be good for us to get to know each other more. We just started talking and I think it would be good for our friendship." she says and I feel my whole body heat up drastically. I know she just said friendship but hanging out with her for a whole day seems absolutely perfect.

"Yeah th-that sounds great." I say, smiling a little too much. "have you hung out with Nancy recently?"

"I see her all the time just like I said she doesn't really entertain me anymore. You on the other hand.." she trails off, looking down. "I can talk to you for hours without getting bored it seems and that's what I want to do, tomorrow."
