Jennie's POV

"I'll update you Jennie once I have an update from the suspect." I nod, as I parked my car at our apartment. Seulgi enters her car, then my eyes landed on a certain person.

"Jungkook." what is he doing here? It's already night. He steps into his car passing in my way while smirking.

My eyes widen then I remember, "Lisa..."

I run as fast as I can, I burst into our apartment seeing Lisa on the floor hugging her knees. "Lo-love what happened?" her eyes met mine she immediately stands lounging herself to me.

"You're here," she said while crying, I hugged her so tight she was shaking. "I'm here my love, I'm here." I lift her legs wrapping them into my waist as I carry her to our bedroom.

I slowly lay her on our bed, but when I was about to let her go she tightened her hold. "Baby I need to change." she groans pulling me beside her. I let her snuggle into my body I move her hair into the back of her ear she's still crying.

"Lisayah what happened?" she bites her lips shaking her head furiously. I immediately sit up pulling her into my lap while hugging her.

I kissed her temple when she mumbled "it's my fault." I lean back looking at her confusedly "what did you just say?" she closed her eyes tightly before looking at me.

"Everything it's my fault... Jennie." she sobbed dropping her head into my shoulder. I rub her back lifting her head to look at me.

"Why? Lighten me love." she stands on the side of the bed pacing back and forth, she's fidgeting her fingers, while biting her lips.

"Lisa, what happened? I saw Jungkook at the parking lot earlier. This has something to do with you being like this, right?" she looks at me her eyes screaming in fear.

"Jen..." she drops her head; I went standing in front of her she holds my hand so tight. "Love tell me what did he do to you?" she hugged me.

"I'm sorry Jen, it wasn't Nayeon Unnie who was supposed to die." I pulled back what is she trying to say. "It just happened that she's with us."

"Lisa what are you-"

"Jen, you were supposed to be driving the car, you were their target." I furrowed my eyes, looking at her confusedly. "Hon it's not an accident... it was a sabotage." she said wiping my tears, I didn't know that I'm already crying.

"It's him... Jungkook he's behind all of this." my hands turn into a fist. "What?"

"The sabotage was planned by Jungkook." I clenched my jaw, this can't be.

Nayeon died because of him.

"I'm going to fucking kill him." I run to the living room to get my keys. "Jennie where are you going?" Lisa asked holding my arm.

"Where? The person who killed my best friend is out there Lisa, what do you want me to do just to chill here. Huh!?" I shove her hands running to the front door but she stops me again by hugging my waist.

"Jennie, let's settle this in the right way. You can't just go there show yourself. What if something happened to you. I... I ca-can't." she tightened her hold griping at my shirt. She's crying so hard and I can't leave her like this.
