Yo, when I say this is a no skip album, I mean this is a no skip album. Typically, there are songs that I'm not a huge fan of on most albums. Even artists that I love. But this album. This masterpiece has zero skip records.
It is so mature, probably their most mature sound yet. And the vocals don't get me started. Even the ladies who barely get any lines got plenty of lines on every other song. Momo, jeongyeon I'm looking at y'all.
This album is most definitely the best bc it really compliments their voices. Their not singing in high, nasally voices. The lot of them are singing in such a lower octave, that I got confused who was singing when. Mina and tzuyu sounded like two completely different people. I was shocked. Happy, but shocked.
Now onto the songs. All of them are bangers, but I do have favorites.
I think I speak for all once's when I say, ICON AND LAST WALTZ.
I swear every comment I've seen on any twice video about the new album, they are always talking about those two songs. Makes sense bc they honesty just hit different.
If ur of a fan of songs where the artists hype themselves up and talk about their success and haters, icon is ur song. In the words of Momo "damn I got it, I'm iconic"
Now my personal favorites are Icon, last waltz, espresso, and 132
I can't even describe how much i gasped and started body rolling bc of those songs. 132 is a sub unit song btw. It's jeongyeon, Mina, and tzuyu singing. They even got a little rap in there.
All nine of the girl separated into three and made sub unit songs.

As much as I love the other ones, 132 is such a bop. It's a grinding song that's for damn sure. It was perfect. I can't put into words how much I love that song.
Now cactus...jihyo got me fucked up. Lmao when I first heard and read the lyrics for cactus, I was like "aw a ballad that's nice" then I heard jihyo wrote it. Then I heard jihyo wrote it about her dead cactus...

That's what you get for being talented. It's an amazing song, it for sure gives me kdrama/anime ost vibes.
I honestly love moonlight too. It's roller skating song, most definitely. And i can't remember what song, but it gives me Michael Jackson vibes. Idk what song, I keep thinking rock with you, but it's not that. Anyways, moonlight is in all English.
Overall, the best album I've seen from a gg in awhile. I can't wait for the next one. I'm exciteddddd
