Parents say our generation is weak
That we would have never survived in theirs
Do they know the media is at its peak?
Or that social media controls our lives?
Or how influencers promote starvation
Because that's when you'll be doing it right
Slowly poisoning our generation
So we won't even be able to fight
Cussing out and hating our reflections
Pointing each and every flaw we retain
Because the media taught us "perfection"
Unachievable ones we can't maintain
How could we ever be happy that way
