In Ayodhya # Author's POV. The beautiful kingdom of Ayodhya was blessed with a prince, Yuvraj Aditya and a beautiful princess, Nidhi. The King of Ayodhya, Maharaj Rudra and The queen of Ayodhya, Devsena are very impartial, kind and caring towards their subjects. Yuvraj Aditya was about 14 years old where as Rajkumari Nidhi was 10 years old.

As the little chanchal princess was running around the palace garden playing with her 2 maids/sakhis, japla and Anandi. Then her mother came there with a beautiful bright smile, Nidhi turned towards her and returned the smile, Then....
Nidhi : Pranipat Mata.
Devsena : Kaliyon ho, putri.
Nidhi : what are you doing here?
Devsena : I was here to tell you that today the Dwarka family are coming to Ayodhya for alliance.

The Ayodhya family welcomed them wholeheartedly, and Dwarka family felt very welcomed. After welcoming them Nidhi ran away to play again because she got bored by their talks. Krishna smiled at her dissapering figure, Balram noticed that.
In mind # Balram : so she is Nidhi?
Krishna : yes Dau, I will befriend her and tell her about Karn.
Balram : why is Karn's story different this time?
Krishna : Niyati was bored seeing the same classic Mahabharata again and again.
Balram : but Nidhi didn't exist in the earlier Mahabharata.
Krishna : yes Dau, in last birth Nidhi was Drauapdi's sakhi, Vidipriya, one of my bhakts. She did hard penance and asked for a boon which stated "I want a husband who will be like the sun, follows dharma, have emence physical strength, is skilled, is the most handsome and very knowledgeable, but don't give me a boon of 6 husbands like you did to my sakhi, I want all the qualities in one man, prabhu please grant me this boon". So the only one who has all these qualities is non other than Karn, she is destined to be 'Karn Sangni'.
