You were just sitting around, waiting for Donut to appear. He told you to wait at the lemon tree today, so he could tell you your new team. You have no idea why Donut wanted to meet in private.

Maybe he didn't want my team members to freak out about me leaving? You thought, knowing how worried and angry Balloony gets when you walk into the apartment late.

He's a lot like your own mother to the point where it's actually terrifying to have him yell at you for 'being past curfew'.

..But if he gets mad for you showing up late, then his reaction to you leaving the team won't be pretty.

But other than Balloony, Cloudy would probably be a bit sad, he likes how you keep him company.

Plus you sometimes give him things for his collections, and you tie his neckties for him.

But Balloony can do all of that stuff for Cloudy, they're pretty much dating anyway, right?

Woody would probably be anxious, you're the only one on the team who actually tries to calm him down.

He might actually need you since nobody else seems to care about his anxiety and phobias.

Nickel probably...wouldn't care, you really don't know the guy on a personal level.

Rocky...you're actually not sure. He doesn't speak, but he does seem to enjoy your presence, as he very rarely spits up on you.

Is it too late to change my mind? It probably is... You thought, picking at your nails. They fully healed a long time ago, and you're a bit careful while picking at them, but you sometimes forget.

You were just left with your thoughts at this point, as you basically clawed at your healed fingernails. Dang, I really died a lot when I first appeared here, I was kinda like Pie.

While you were thinking, Donut's voice caught your attention. "Hey," He greeted, you waved to him.

"I finally have the end result," He told you as he then sat down, in front of you, opening a folder.

You let go of your hands and watched as Donut then looked at the paper in the folder. "One two three four..." He counted before closing the folder.

"You'll be joining Death Pact with twelve votes,"

You blinked a few times "Twelve? Why is it so low, and not like the Cake and Steak numbers?" You asked, a bit confused.

He just shrugged his shoulders. "Not that many people read this story,"

"..there you go again with the 'readers' and 'chapters' bullshit..." You whispered under your breath, looking around the area.

You happened to see Pie playing Tic-Tac-Toe with Cake.

You let out a small sigh before getting up from the ground. "I'm gonna go play with Pie," You said as you began to walk away.
