Chapter 25

"this has to be some kind of joke!" sunoo cried. his friends only looked down. neither any of them knew what to say, and they hated it. they knew that there was nothing they could do or say to comfort sunoo "do you want mint choco? we can go buy some if you'd like" jake asked him.

sunoo sighed. he didn't reply anything and walked away "jay. can you call ni-ki and tell him to unblock sunoo?" jungwon asked "I tried. but he would end the call if I ever mentioned sunoo's name" jay replied.

"what's gotten into him?" heeseung asked "I don't know!" jay sighed "one year.." sunghoon groaned.

everyday felt like hell to sunoo. he couldn't eat, he couldn't sleep, and he couldn't even smile like before. some told him that it was time to move on, but it wasn't that easy. he and ni-ki had a very special bond. he couldn't even say goodbye to him.

there he was again, laying in bed while staring at the ceiling with his lights turned off. his door opened, revealing his mother and father who had a very concerned look on their faces "you haven't eaten anything all day. can you atleast join us for dinner?" his mother pleaded.

sunoo only hummed. his parents were happy that he agreed. sunoo slowly stood up and made his way to his bathroom. he washed his face and looked at the mirror. he noticed that he had huge eye bags under his eyes, dry lips, and a swollen face.

"still pretty" he chuckled. he left his bathroom and made his way down the stairs, then to their dining table.

he saw that his parents had cooked his favorite food. sunoo would normally squeal while jumping up and down. but now, he only looked at the food with no expression on his face.

30 minutes later, his parents had finished eating their food while sunoo's plate wasn't even near half empty. it was obvious that he only took about three bites of his food. nonetheless, his parents were proud that he ate.

a few weeks later, he slowly started feeling better with the help of his friends.

jay was in his room walking back and forth. he was thinking of a plan but nothing came to his mind due to the amount of stress he's going through these days "jay can you stop thinking about it and focus on your exams first?" jungwon rubbed jay's shoulders.

jay ignored him and threw his self on jungwon's bed "i haf to fink of somfing" jay said while his face was buried under jungwon's pillow "what?" jungwon asked "i said i have to think of something" jay repeated but clearer.

jungwon stood up and grabbed olders wrists "let's go outside. you need some fresh a-" he got cut off when jay stood up "noooo" jay whined. jungwon was getting impatient. he took jays phone and typed the password. then went to his contacts and called ni-ki.
