   Solar POV

The rehearsal goes as smooth as it could. We took a few breaks, talked a bit in between and I couldn't stop the reoccurring smile from showing itself to my girls. Byul made sure that I felt okay, always looking out for me, offering me some water and asking me if I wanted to take a break once in a while. Hyejin, well... she did her best.

“So, hm, I'm pretty hungry...” the youngest let out, followed by a sigh. “Can you hear my tummy?” She pointed at her stomach, right above her belly button.

We giggled, and Moon quickly took her wallet out of her dark blue bag.

“Dinner at the restaurant nearby?” She smiled at us, awaiting an answer.

“The one that smells like rotten cheese? Because if so, I'd rather eat the spoiled chicken someone left on the company's fridge last month.” She rolled her eyes, but I could tell she was half-joking.

Byul rolls her eyes back, putting the wallet inside the bag again. “No, not the rotten cheese one. We can go to that one where they have karaoke rooms. Are you in?”

Hyejin showed a big smile, and I followed. At this, Moon smiled back, and made a sign for us to go after her. We went, quietly, so not to disturb the other people at the company. As we made our way downstairs, someone calls.

“Moonbyul sunbaenim!” The voice sounded familiar, so I turn around, and so do the girls. Moon smiles as she sees the person who called her.

Turns out I knew him. His particular features, his dark hair that was now reaching his shoulders, his unique but cozy way of dressing himself. He had been around for a few years now, but his face remains the same.

“Xion-ah” Byul's voice makes my trail of thoughts go away. “What are you doing here so late?”

The boy bows, and proceeds to talk, a smile stamped on his pale skin.

“Sunbaenim, you can call me Dongju.” His smile gets even brighter, though I didn't know that was possible. “I’m staying until late to practice with the rest of the boys.”

Moon smiles, gently placing her hand on his shoulder. She looked fond of him. I knew the younger trainees meant a lot to her.

“Do you need help with something? Money for dinner?” She asks.

It has been a few years since Xion and the other members debuted under RBW. Nevertheless, they still struggled a bit with money, as their reputation was still growing. They had it, but always made sure to spend it on the right things. After late practices, a few months ago, we found them in the hallways, discussing if eating at the company was gonna be cheaper than going out or ordering something. It pained Byul, so she started helping them with what she could.

“No, thank you!” He looked shy, his eyes now facing the floor. “Ravn asked if you could help him with some song he's been produci-”

“Oh,” Moon interrupted the young boy, which made me look at her. “I’m not the best at producing, though... Are you sure he called for me?”

He looked at her, still very nervous. I don't think he ever got comfortable around us, neither did most of the other members. They always got really shy and nervous, even after dozens of meetings and events together.

“To be honest, he said you were the only one that could help at this time of the day, and he's... in a bit of a rush...” His voice went lower and lower, so it got hard to understand what he was saying. Still, Byul understood the message and smiled.

“I’d be happy to help as much as I can...” She starts. “But can it be after dinner?”

The boy giggles in the cutest way I've ever seen. Even Hyejin has heart eyes for him.

“He’s so adorable it makes me wanna bite his head.” She whispers in my ear and I turn to her, showing my expression of confusion and disgust (I didn't know that expression existed until then). She rolls her eyes.

“Of course.” Xion replies. “We were about to take a break for dinner too.”

“Oh, great!” Moonbyul’s face lights up like she just came up with the greatest idea ever. Whenever she looked like this, I never knew if it was gonna be horrendous or the best thing ever. No in-between. “Do you guys wanna have dinner with us?”

It took him a while to understand the question. Either that or he was dumbfounded that he got invited to have dinner with us.

“I, uh...” He went. Words tried to escape his mouth, but nothing came out. It took him a few tries. “We would love that... Can I talk to the rest of the members?”

Byul nodded, smiling. The boy left, almost running, and we watched as he got in the practice room. Then, a bunch of screams and expressions of disbelief started echoing in the hallway. Moon looked at us.

“Is it okay?” She asked for our permission. Never once did I think we'd have dinner with them, without it being for company gatherings or events. It's nice, but also scary.

Hyejin nodded, and I proceeded to do the same. This made Byul clap her hands in the cutest behavior, and I couldn't help but smile. Damn, she was mine.

After a few minutes, the door for their practice room opens. We watch as the six boys make their way outside, some faster than others. I recognize all of them, even though some grew to be a bit different.

“Thank you so much for inviting us.” The leader thanks us, while bowing. I remember his name from when he was a trainee, but he goes by his stage name now. Something to do with...a bird? I can't really recall.

“We hope you have a good time, and I'll help you with the track right after.” Moon smiles.

The atmosphere was quite silent, but it quicky changed as one of the boys raised his high-pitched voice, making me shiver.

“HWASA SUNBAENIM!” A tall boy makes his way to the front, bumping into a few members. He then bows, as much as he can, and faces Hyejin. A big, bright smile was glued to his face, showing the lower braces on his teeth.

Hwasa made her way to the front, and faced the boy. She giggled as he looked at her in the eyes, but I know she found that endearing. She liked that kind of attention, but she liked giving love even more. Making others smile and laugh. That's her thing.

“Keonhee-ah, you better be dancing a lot now. Last time I saw you, your ankle was injur-”

The boy interrupted, almost screaming. “You remember that? Wow, no one else remembers that!”

I looked at the other members, and couldn't help but chuckle at their reactions. Xion rolled his eyes and replied “We all remember that, unfortunately”.

Hyejin talked to the clumsy boy a bit, even though I bet he felt like he had the time of his life. However, reminded by my stomach, I reminded her we had to go. She nodded.

“Sunbaenim, I know you want to sit with your members, but... can I please sit next to you? I have a lot of questions and I want to know what's the real story behind your music video, and...”

The youngest girl smiled. “Sure, I'd love to tell you all about it.”

Keonhee jumped, happiness filling his entire body. It felt good to see him like that.

As we made our way to the restaurant, walking, some of the boys talked to us about their comeback plans, their experiences and the way they were dealing with the group problems overall. It was nice hearing them, recalling a time when I too was like them, just like them. Times changed, of course, but their hearts are filled with joy, fear and ambition, just like mine was. And because of that, I felt like teaching them everything I had to learn by myself. That dinner would be fun.
