(Phoebe's POV... still)

"Ow...!" Moon whined as I cleaned the wound in his arm. While he was asleep I managed to clean and bandage his leg and wing. I also put a cold towel on his face so the pain from slamming into the tree would ease up. During all that my mind thought about Yami's words (in the previous chapter). How could I have forgotten?? I literally met the guardian of the negative apple and didn't even think about it! It was like my memory of Yami's words had been... erased. No no... not erased... more like blocked off. My mind, however, kept focusing on that last sentence... "focus on what really matters"... what did she mean by that? But either way... this meant that helping Moon was the first in my amazing accomplishments! But... what could Moon need my help with? The outbursts of violence? I dunno... I sighed as I gently pet Moon to make him feel better. He looked at me with a pained whine,

"Phoebeeeee..." he whined, "why did you do thaaaat? I was protecting you then you wound up getting hurt cause you wanted to protect meeee..." I sighed smiling at his cute whines. I then bandaged up his arm,

"I wasn't about to let you take the brunt of everything. I could tell you were struggling to even stand up. Besides the bite's nothing. I've dealt with worse." I looked at my arm as I had cleaned and bandaged it up as well. Moon then suddenly grabbed the hand of said arm and pulled me closer, to my surprise. He put my hand on his cheek and nuzzled it,

"But... it was bleeding... and I..." he whined. I gently nuzzled him, catching him off guard,

"I'm okay Moon, I promise." I cooed softly. He sighed and nuzzled back, causing me to blush. He hummed softly before gently placing his hand on my head, causing me to blush confused. He then quickly pulled away and looked away shyly as I sat up,

"Are you okay now...?" I asked softly, gently holding the injured arm. He looked at me with a sigh,

"I just... don't feel right..." he shrugged. I shrugged in return and hummed,

"Why don't you get some rest, okay?" He nodded softly as he stared at me for much longer than necessary. I looked away nervously before he suddenly grabbed my arm and pulled me onto the bed with him, causing me to yelp surprised. I ended up next to him as I quickly tried to get up, hoping he was just really dazed, as Moon then suddenly wrapped his arms around me and held me close. I squeaked and blushed before noticing the objects watching us from the crack in the door. I grumbled embarrassed before flipping them off. The door closed and I was left alone with a cuddle bug. Moon cuddled me as I sighed and gently laid my arm over him. He smiled and started purring as he nuzzled me. I blushed more before smiling softly and purring too, slowly closing my eyes and drifting off to sleep.

I don't know how long I was asleep, but I awoke to the sound of a violin playing beautifully. I opened my eyes and looked at the apple. When Moon fell asleep he nearly dropped the apple, so I caught it with my tail and left it on the bedside table. We weren't in either of our rooms; Mrs. Potts brought us to another room which was on the first floor, perfect for laying Moon in bed and getting him fixed up. I sat up slightly and rubbed my eye before looking towards the sound. Moon was there, sitting on a stool and playing a violin (image above) as I stared at him entranced. Despite the injured arm he played beautifully. I sat up fully and watched him as he played. After a couple minutes he finished and stared at the violin with a smile before putting it in its case. He then turned to me and squeaked surprised when he realized I was awake. I waved with a giggle as he looked away,

"I-I uhm... s-sorry about... s-suddenly cuddling you earlier..." he muttered blushing. I blushed as well,

"I-I just... I sleep better when I... h-have someone to c-cuddle." He covered his face embarrassed as I giggled. He's just so adorable! I then looked at the apple again before looking at him,
