Part 38

POV Y/n 

We finished eating, I left the boys to do their own thing and had the band follow me to another room where I plan on practicing with them:

"

- Okay gentlemen, since the songs are pretty much ready we of course have to practice, lucky for you all there's no dancing involved but I am very tough so I'll make you people practice until your vocal cords break and your fingers fall off your hands. Not literally of course but I still expect you to work hard

- Do we not get a say in this? Theo asked

- Actually no I'm glad you asked, we made an entire album together, obviously we'll have to do concerts. Do you want to mess up in front of thousands or hundreds of thousands of people? 

- No...

- Proves my point, let's begin and we'll take a break whenever you guys are feeling tired

"

We started singing and played all the songs in order. They were of course doing pretty good but Bellamy would sometimes confuse his part with mine or sing a different verse, it's alright of course but he'll have to work on that. We took our first break and gave some advice to Bellamy, we had some water and went back to working. After a few tries it came out absolutely perfect. I was very happy about that, and it was now time for them to get the rest of their day off, I'll check on the boys and go home as well. 

We left the room, the boys were still practicing but since they were doing a good job I told them they could also take the rest of their day off. I drove the band to their hotel and went home. Home, I took a shower, changed into pajamas and looked around for a book to read. I finally found one and was about to read it when the bell rang. 

It did surprise me knowing that well no one comes to my house, and if they do the people I know never ring the bell, they just come in or give me a call. I put my book down and went to open the door. It did take some time for me to open it since I was hesitating but I finally did. 

Illumi standing there, leaning on the wall, he was injured, pretty badly too. I hurriedly brought him inside and sat him down. I rushed to get the first aid kit and sat down in front of him:

"

- What the actual  fuck happened to you?

- See, this time I knocked on the door, I know how much you hate when I break him. He lightly chuckled 

- This should be the least of your worries idiot, what happened to you?

- Mission didn't go as planned, I fulfilled it but ended up way more injured than I planed

- Lord, why not just go see the doctor at the manor? 

- I trust you more with it

- Not sure if you should

- I missed you Y/n

- You did?

- To insanity. Did you miss me too?

- I guess

"

While I was patching up his wounds to the best of my ability he was a bit out of it, he was dozing off every 15 seconds or so. I finishing patching him up and managed to carry him to my room, I dropped him on the bed. I got some tea and my book and sat down next to him. Poor him, he must've been so tired. 

I read my book as he was peacefully sleeping. Not for long though, he started shaking and moving around, I moved closer to him and held his hand, he gripped my hand tightly and refused to let go. He stopped shaking and held my hand with both of his hands. I had already finished my tea and it's pretty much impossible to read with one hand, plus I could use a nap. I put my stuff on the nightstand and laid down next to him, falling asleep soon enough. 

I woke up a few hours later, Illumi was still sleeping like a baby, I stayed in bed and played with his hair while staring at the ceiling. Damn, I missed this so much, the whole, staying in bed and playing his hair and all, I missed it, I missed him, more than I thought I did. 

He did wake up some time later, I was still playing with his hair and humming a song. He opened his eyes and we stared at each other for some time:

"

- I'll get you some food love, stay here

- Thank you Y/n, I mean it

- No need, it's not the first time I save your ass

- Y/n, before you go

- Yes?

- I love you

- I love you too 

"

I went out of the room with a smile on my face. I went downstairs and made some food for the both of us, along with some tea and juice. I went upstairs and opened the door, Illumi stood in front of me and took the tray out of my hands to put it on the bed:

"

- You're still injured, you shouldn't get out of bed this early

- You know I heal fast, I'll be alright, come here, let's eat. He patted the seat next to him

- You may heal fast I still want you to rest

- Anyway, so tell me about your life, how was it going back to your career?

- It's great, my life is a bit back to normal and it's fun. Plus I'm doing a collaborative album with this band, they're cool people

- That's nice, I'm happy for you

- Thanks, what about you?

- Life is the same you know, same old boring life. I'm just glad I get to see you

- Aww, so what do you want to do today? Do you have to go back home?

- No, I'll take some time off to rest and I'll go back tomorrow, for some reasons mom decided that I get a day off after each mission which is really cool

- Yup, it's great, which means you get to spend the day with me, what do you want to do?

- Anything you want to do

- I have work today but I'll get off early since all I have today is practice, after that we can do something fun

- Gladly. He smiled

- Finish eating, in the meantime I'll shower and choose an outfit for the day

"

I got out of bed, did my morning routine and after moisturizing every accessible square inch of my body like I always do, I put on a robe and went looking for clothes to wear for the day. Illumi took the tray to the kitchen and showered, I found him some clothes- before I could even find my own outfit- and was still wondering what I'll wear today. 

I finally found something and went to pick up the boys with Illumi who wanted to join. I picked them up and Bellamy was surprised that someone took his seat next to me. He sat at the back with his band:

"

- So who's your friend Y/n? Bellamy asked

- I'm Illumi, pleasure to meet you

- You're in my seat

- It's not your car, therefore, it's not your seat

- But I always sit here whenever she picks us up

- Well I now I'm here, so I'll sit here

- But-

- Bellamy don't be a baby, you'll handle not being in the front seat 

- but-

- Y/n is right Bellamy, usually you never make a big deal out of things like this. Felix, the drummer commented
