I woke up abruptly when I felt a splash of water against my body. I sat immediately up, gasping for air."What the fu–"
It was the same tattooed guy from yesterday. He
grinned at me."I thought you must be thirsty."
He said while handing over the bottle to me casually."I don't trust you; what if there's poison in there?"
I narrowed my eyes.He sighed before speaking again. "Fine, do whatever you feel like bitch."
"Why am I here ?" I stood up with hands around my chest
"Why don't you ask Boss? He has called you down anyway."
"But why ?"
He didn't say anything. Instead, he held my arm and dragged me downstairs into an empty room. The room's walls were white with no windows; it had an old bed and a wooden chair near the corner. There were splashes of blood on the white walls making the room scarier.
"That's your room for now."
He said while pushing me inside."You call that a room. That's a BLOODY Prison."
"Because you are a prisoner genius, you should be glad that he isn't making you sleep in the basement."
With that, he stomped out of the room before shutting the door loudly.
There was no source of light in the room. It felt suffocating. Is this a torture room? Why is there blood everywhere?
I felt alone and sacred sitting on the chair.
I need to leave; they can't let me stay here without my permission. I felt a hint of bravery as I slowly got up, moved towards the door, and held my ears against it to listen to any noise before twisting the knob.
I was about to open the door when I felt the door opening from the other side, making me jump back in surprise.
"Going somewhere, Princess ?"
He was the same creepy man from yesterday. His grey eyes were piercing my soul as he moved toward me slowly. There was a smirk on his face, intimidating the shit of me."A-Are you the one who used to send me those flowers ?" I tried to sound confident but was barely audible. Great, Is this how I am going to intimidate a criminal?
"What do you think?" He continued moving towards me while my legs moved backwards in reflex.
"Are you going to kill me?" I gulped while looking for a way to escape.
I desperately looked around everywhere in fear, his vast body covering the door.
He held my arms tightly and brought me closer to his chest as I continued to move backwards.
"I'm not going to kill you, princess. You're going to kill yourself."
I could feel his hot breath on my forehead giving me goosebumps all over my neck."Why are you doing this to me?" I said while pushing him away with my fists.
The more I pushed him, the more he brought himself closer to me and continued to stare into my eyes with an intense gaze.
"Trust me; there's a good reason." He whispered while caressing my cheeks.
A lone tear escaped my eye in fear. Never in my life have I been afraid of anything in this life, but today, I felt so weak and helpless.
" I don't want to .. die." I have my whole life ahead. I have dreams which I want to achieve.
He laid me against the wall, still holding my arms tightly, making me wince. Looking into his cold yet alluring eyes, I saw a flash of my future. The one I've always dreamt of. Three golden retrievers, a beautiful mansion, reading my favourite books while playing with the hair of the love of my life. The sunlight falls across our faces, and dogs play in the background.
