I switched the lights to see a white paper bag on my bed. I opened it to see a red backless satin gown. It was honestly the most beautiful gown I had ever seen.

It was a cold evening. I removed my overcoat and stepped out of the car, shivering. I looked at Carolina; she seemed so excited.
