Alessandro is holding a Masquerade today; I was baffled about the dress, so I invited her over.
"Yo, do you live alone here ?" She said as she stared at every corner of the living room with her mouth wide open in shock.

I shrugged. "Kind of "

"The rent must be high, right ?"

"Niccolò DeVille owns this place." I sighed

"Oh right, I forgot your sugar-" She slapped her mouth and looked at me with guilt-stricken eyes.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean-"

"It's okay; I am used to it," I said as we moved towards my room.

I switched the lights to see a white paper bag on my bed. I opened it to see a red backless satin gown. It was honestly the most beautiful gown I had ever seen.

"You already bought something ?" She pouted. She looks so much like Paxe when she does that.

"I didn't order it " I looked at the dress in confusion. My gaze went towards a note stuck inside the other side of the box.

~Beautiful dress for the beautiful lady~

My ass.

"What's that ?" She raised her eyebrows in confusion.

"Oh, just a price tag," I said as I crumbled the paper and threw it inside the trash can.

It was a cold evening. I removed my overcoat and stepped out of the car, shivering. I looked at Carolina; she seemed so excited. The deep black dress looked so good on her freshly dyed green highlights. Only special guests were invited today, so there wasn't much crowd near the entrance. We entered through the smoke-covered corridor to the stage. The place looked different. Alessandro must have to spend a lot on dollars today.

"Here comes my show stopper." Alessandro chuckled as he kissed my cheeks lightly. I rolled my eyes. The only reason he treats me wl is because of my popularity among the audience.

"Look, I saved this one for you" He chuckled as he gave me a silver masquerade.
