"Who are you, really?" I asked, staring into her, watching as she organized the photos next on the drawer next to my side of the bed. The woman doesn't reply, instead she stands tall and looks back into me. "What could I tell you, darling?" She mumbled, deeply sighing. She looked at the pictures of Lèon and I when we got married. That was a while ago now..

She turned her back at me, staring out the window. "I'm a vampire." She said as I gasped. I didn't respond, I just stood there, unsure of what my next movement will be. "I'm from Spain, i've came here in search for.. someone special." She began, turning around to look back at me. Her eyes.. They converted into a bloody red, and at that point I could see her fangs.

I gulped. "Who's that special someone..?" I questioned in a whisper, backing up as she began to slowly make her way towards me. As she did, I observer the way her hips swayed with every step and her face remained the same. However, a smile crept onto her face and she stared into my soul.

I could feel goosebumps arise from my skin at that point. I always knew that vampires have existed throughout time however.. i've never been so close to one until now. I had mixed feelings about this. I wasn't sure how.. or what to even say to her!

The woman stopped walking until she was close infront of me. I could feel her cool breath on me. At that, I only gulped, unable to move or even think straight as time passed. I felt as if my heart were to explode at any second now. My palms were sweaty and I began to feel dizzy.

"You." She replied, her cold fingers caressing the side or my arm. I shook my head repeatedly, desperately trying to take in her words but I still couldn't seem to do so. "Y..You've got the wrong person." I stuttered slightly, gulping as she chuckled. Her face was only a few inches away from mine, and I was afraid that she was going to rip me apart.

I looked elsewhere from her blood eyes, I blinked several times, wishing that I was only going insane.

"No, I've got the right person." She simply said. "I've been looking for you.. for so long now. Hundred's of years have passed.." She added. I shook my head in disbelief. "Hundreds?!" I exclaimed, watching her eyes return to their original warm color. She smiled widely at that, trying to contain her laughter. "Yes." She replied.

I shook my head, shutting my eyes. I felt my breath accelerate with every second. "No, i'm sure you've got the wrong person." I mumbled, taking in a deep breath. "I'm just me, i'm normal no one that special. Plus i'm only human, we can't be interlinked." I added, opening my eyes staring into hers once again. "Sweet doll, i've td you that i've got the right person. We're mates, believe it or not." She said, whispering the last part.

"What?" My eyes widely opened, listening to her words carefully. "I thought having a mate was a myth. That's what i've been told.." I gulped, feeling her hand slowly caressing my back. Goosebumps arose, and everything began to feel cold. "Having a mate is a real thing and whoever told you it was a myth is absolutely wrong. They're filled with crap." She repliedx slightly moving back.

I looked into her, admiring her warm green eyes. "I'm married and I have a child." I murmured, as she stood silent for a moment. "So?" Elina mumbled, a slight smile appearing. She tucked her straight hair behind her ears. "It might be weird and I know this all happened at once but I just couldn't hold myself back from you." She said. as I watched her pale skin glisten under the bright sunlight.

We both stood silent for a moment. "I just couldn't bare it anymore.. watching you with him, it pains me!" She admitted, looking away from me. "I want you, I need you.. but you love him too much and I know you truly value your family." Elina added. "But I also know that you're hurting in this relationship.. and no matter how much you want to deny it, I can sense your pain. I feel it and it makes my blood boil."

We stood silent for a moment again, leaving me drowning in my own thoughts. She sighed once again, staring back at me. "You want to stay together for the child, but you're only hurting yourself and the her more by doing so. And well.. I could only assume he might end up hurting himself as well." She whispered. I stood there, unable to answer her.

I just couldn't find the right words to say.. I couldn't even look into her anymore. Hearing those words come out of her mouth, I couldn't help but to feel guilty and terrible. What she said was completely true and I didn't want to believe it but she only spoke the truth that I desperately wanted to deny.

I opened my mouth, hesitating over what I should say now. "I.. I don't know what to tell you." I breathed, looking back into her eyes as she seemed lost in her own thoughts as well.

She backed away from me, staring at me. Elina gulped, her hands shaking slightly. "I should go now." She said, grabbing her brown leather jacket. As I stood there in silence.. I stared into her, unsure of what my next movement will be.

So before her hand could touch the door knob, I spoke up walking towards her.

"Wait!" I exclaimed, grabbing her wrist. We moved closer towards each other. "No." I shook my head. "Please, don't leave just yet."
