        Fschhh. The sound of a Spy uncloaking fades in beside you as you walk toward your base. "Hey," You say, not looking at him.

        "Bonjour, mon amour." He replies. That's how he always greets you. You smile. 

        "Where have you been?" You ask.

        "Nowhere." He tells you. Again, this is what he always says. You look up at the moon.

        "It's late," You note.

        "Oui, it is."

        "Did you ask Engineer about that thing we talked about?" You test.

        "Of course I did." You stop walking. "What is it?"

        You pin him on the nearest wall crate by the tie. "You're the BLU Spy."

        "No, I am not!" He protests. You hold his arm down.

        "Yes, you are."

        "How would you know?"

        "Spy hates Engineer! He would never talk to him."

        "Of course I wouldn't! I was um... testing you!"

        "Sure. Listen, backstabber- why don't you stop trying to get into our base and run before I kill you?"

        "I can't! You're holding me down!"

        You let go of the imposter. He looks at you. "Fous." He then then runs away, cloaking in the process.

        "Well handled." Spy compliments behind you. You turn around just in time to see him become visible in a shimmer of red.

        You wrap him in a hug. "Where have you been all day?"

        "Trying to kill the BLUs, just like you."

        "Oh, really?" You look up at him and smile. "How many did you get?"

        "I missed the Heavy. Got him on the shoulder."

        "You missed? You never miss!"

        "But the contrary, my dear. I did today."

        You lose your smile. "Is something wrong? There is, isn't there?"

        Spy laughs momentarily. "Nothing you should worry about, darling. Let's head back to base. They'll wonder where we've been."

        "We can tell them." You smile again. "I won't mind."

        "Oh, won't you?" He starts walking. "You know, you are one of a kind."

        "Stop it."

        "But you are!" He argues. "You look much better in red than blue."

        You look at his figure, illuminated my the bright full moon. "Well, you do too." You say, approaching the base.

        "Merci."

        He quietly opens the door for you so you can slip inside. You do so, and he comes right after you. He accidentally trips over a small box.

        "You can't see well in the dark for a Spy," You note quietly.

        "I'm blind. You should know this by now." He rests his hand on your shoulder so you can lead him.

        You keep your eyes to the ground, watching out for various bullet shells and bottles. When you finally make it to where all the bunks are, you meet Engineer. He doesn't look too happy. 

        "I ain't gonna even ask where you tow have been, but I'll need to tell Soldier in the morning how late you came back." He informs you.

        "No, Engi, please don't. I don't want him to yell at us again." You plead.

        "Don't even think about trying that on me. You two know you have a curfew, ju8st like the rest of us."

        "Like the one you aren't following?" Spy questions.

        "Tell you what- you go get me a cupcake, and I'll let it slide for now."

        "Deal!" You agree, running off to the kitchen. You grab one and start to run back to Engineer, eventually giving it to him. You hear thunder crack and jump out of your skin. You hate thunder.

        "Let's just get to bed." Spy decides. You nod and follow him past Engineer. He heads left toward his 'bed', and you turn right. Thunder again rattles the base, and you almost run to the bed, but manage to keep your composure. You climb into your bunk and pull the thin blanket over you, shutting your eyes. Another clap of thunder rings out, making you sit up in your bed. Now you're downright terrified. Another crash galvanizes you back over to Spy. You push yourself into his bed. He turns over to look at you. You shut your eyes at yet another shot of booming thunder. You feel Spy's arms wrap around you, and welcome it. "I love you," He whispers.

        "I love you too."
