  You flop down in your comfortably familiar La-Z-Boy recliner and grab your computer after a long, hard hour of eating breakfast and taking care of your cat. You turn on some music with your Spotify app and open up your e-mail. You know it's advanced for the year 1978, but hey! You're always ahead when you're the master hacker for the US Government. Nobody's better. You grin as you open up your "mission" and your fingers begin flying across the keyboard. You always love the sound of your own fast typing. It made you feel proud, strong, courageous, powerful--

  "Ey!" Someone nudges you harshly in the side. You groan. "Wake up." Scout, you tell yourself. You sigh and heave yourself out of your bed.

  No.

  You're not a hacker.

  And no.

  You don't have a cat.

  Medic's allergic.

  But! You remember, Engineer is indeed teaching you to become a hacker! Of... sentries. It's not fun, and it's more of a spy thing, but you really like being with Engineer. Working him. Working with his... uhm...

  Your face is getting red.

  You decide to think about the life you want with your cat and walk out to get breakfast. You greet Sniper on the way to grab an apple. When you turn around, Engineer is right there. You accidentally bump into him a little bit. Did you just make a short person pun?

  You tell yourself no. That's bad. You apologize to Engineer for being so clumsy. He says it's okay and smiles at you. You ask him if there's something you can do to help.

  "No," He tells you, "but it'd be great to have some company in the shop today."

  "Sounds like a great idea!" You smile at him brightly. You probably look nervous. "I'll be happy to be there on you. With you. There. In the shop." You clear your throat. "I'm gonna go." You excuse yourself and hurry out of the room, shutting yourself in your own.

  You're pretty sure he knows about your crush on him.

  "It's nice to have someone here all the time."

  You're in the Workshop now. Engineer is teaching you some things, like how to build hacking equipment. You act like you're having fun, but, being honest, you'd rather just get to the fun part of hacking- The James Bond stuff.

  Well... you're pretty sure James Bond did some kind of hacking. He probably did at one point.

  All of a sudden, you pay attention as Engineer guides your hands to do things with his own. He's saying something about a Sirskit... or maybe a circuit. You're pretty sure he's a geek, not a nerd. But... the way he holds your hands so gently, it's like...

  It's like they were supposed to be there.

  "Everything alright?" He asks.

  You start to nod, then shake your head. When you attempt to do both, you end up moving your head in circles and look like an idiot. (You just tried that.) Engineer turns you around and pulls his goggles up.

  "Hm..." You look at him, confused. When he kisses your cheek, you're pretty sure you're going to faint.

  But, of course, who would want to miss a moment with Engineer?

  Not this hacker.
