Three Months Later
Ethan threw the football to Jalai and she caught it. Jalai ran past Tristen, who leaped to tackle her, and went into the homemade endzone. She had made a touchdown. She did a little dance and high-fived Ethan. She was wearing a grey tank top. The sun shined on her metal prosthetic arm.
"Try not to hurt your arm. That thing was expensive to make, you know!" Anthony called from his lawn chair. They were all in the large backyard of his new home.
Tristen and Ethan had destroyed the entire state of Louisiana. It was completely flooded from a bird's eye view of America. Thankfully many civilians were able to evacuate to other nearby states. Including their families. Since everyone's families knew each other they decided, it'd be best to live near one another. This included Melissa's, Cole's, Stacy's, and the Elements' families. They all lived together in Ingeniero County, New Mexico.
"She's not going to listen to you." Tristen said as he went to go sit by Melissa, who lay down on a towel in the grass.
"Hi." She said with a grin.
"Hi."
"Young love," Anthony quipped, grinning at the duo. "you love to see it."
"Aren't you Asexual?" Stacy asked from the patio.
"Aren't you gay?" Anthony snapped.
They both fell silent.
"Ok, guys, I think we're getting a bit out of hand." Sydney noted.
"Not as out of hand as the incident a month ago." Ethan added.
"Incident?" Melissa asked.
"Uhhh...you do know my girlfriend knows nothing about that for a reason, right?" Tristen voiced.
"It isn't that big of a deal. Tristen got kidnapped. Anthony and I went to go save him. He's here. The end." Jalai explained.
"Uh...you could've told me you got kidnapped!" Melissa said standing up.
"Couldn't really tell you when I didn't have my phone on me at the time!" Tristen answered.
"I don't mean while you were kidnapped, I meant after, sabelotodo!"
"Sorry. Also, didn't I tell you to stop cursing me out in Spanish?"
"You don't tell me what to do, midget boy."
Tristen buried his face in his hands. "I am in such an abusive relationship."
"Damn right!" Melissa responded slapping Tristen on the back of his head.
"Ready for your minor adjustments?" Anthony asked Jalai.
"Yeah, come on." Jalai answered taking her prosthetic off. Her left shoulder was nothing but a stub.
Anthony and Jalai walked into his new shed. It was almost as big as the house. It smelled of a new car. Anthony walked to a table and laid the prosthetic arm down.
"So, do you want a new color? Maybe I can engrave some cool designs in it." Anthony stated.
"Maybe," Jalai replied. "I want some little tiny windows on it. Inside of these windows is purple fluid. Like a lava lamp!"
"Uh. Ok, these windows will be super tiny, though. And what do you want this fluid to be exactly? Maybe water with purple color dye?"
"No. My own liquid."
"HUH?!" Anthony's face grew red.
"What? Not like that, you lil' weirdo. I can produce plasma. It kinda derives from my electricity. Just make the arm hollow, so it can flow easily."
