Umakyat na kami ni Ferdinand sa aming kwarto ng nakahubad, nauna na akong maligo kasi mamaya pa daw siya maligo at may isesend lang na telegram sa kasamahan niya. May ja Minutes later may nag open ng pinto sa bathroom.
“Sweetheart?” tanong ko.
“Yes sweetheart?” sagot ni FEM.
“Can you help scrub my back, I can’t reach it.”
“Okay sure.” Kinuha naman niya agad yung pang scrub at nilagyan ng sabon at sinunod ang utos ko.
“Sweetheart, sabay nalang ako sa yo sa tub, promise wala ng round 2.” Sabay tawa. Puro talaga to biro ang lalaking to, kung gaano ka strikto sa loob ng court room, sobra naman ka palabiro sa labas.
“I’ll trust you with that sweetheart.”
Ferdinand is a man of his word, baka napagod na to kanina. He jumps into the tub with me and went behind my back to continue with his work. After we finish our bath session, we went straight to our bed and just cuddle while we talk.
“You know what sweetheart, I never imagined that you would marry me right there. I really thought I had no chance cause you got a lot of suitors” he said.
“You got lucky there sweetheart. You know the reason why chose you?”
“No, what is it?”
“One time when we were in Baguio before we got married, you sat with me during the mass, you know I always bring with me a copy of a prayer book and you just sat there and memorized it in a few minutes.”
“Hahahaha, you’re funny darling. Is that the only reason?”
“That’s just one of the reason why I chose you. You got me when you let me eat 2 chicken in a basket.”
We both laughed at what I said.
“You really were perfect in every way, darling, I meant that.”
“Kahit kailan Ferdinand, gaking montalagang mambola ano po?” basag kong sinabi sa kanya.
“HAHAHAHA, You really are, so will our children to be.” He then hugged me and kissed me on the the lips and my forehead.
“Sweetheart, I want my firstborn child to be a boy, and I’ll let him join the army.” Sabi nya naman.
“And when it’s a girl?”
“Then you’ll teach her how to be beautiful and perfect just like you.” Iba din to mag isip ang lalaking to.
“Thank you sweetheart.”
After namin mag usap, natulog na kami at maaga pa siya bukas. Nagising naman ako ng maaga. Nakita ko si Ferdinand na mahimbing ang tulog, hinalikan ko muna siya sa pisngi bago ako tumayo para maghanda ng umagahan. I started preparing his suit for work, plinantsa ko na at hinanger ko na sa may wall kung saan nya makikita. Bumaba na rin ako at nagluto ng breakfast niya. Di ko naman ata naoaoansin na nag bebreakfast itong asawa, minsan kasi nagfafast siya, pero hinandaan ko nalang siya ng green juice may ginger, kale, apalaya, carrots, red and green apple, at lemon. Okay na siguro yan. Tinikman ko yung juice na ginawa ko sa kanya, nag iba mukha ko…
“Agsgdjrujrht, ganito ba talaga lasa nito, buti naiinim niya to lahat.” Sabi ko.” nagluto nalang rin ako ng bacon and egg… sakto naman at dumating na si Inday at tinulungan ako.
