"Get the brown and white sweater."

"Nah, the beige one looks better."

Jake's eyes narrowed as he glared at Jay. "Sunoo, you like the brown and white one, right?"

"I actually kind of-"

"He likes the beige one," Jay answered for him.

Kai smiled, watching the two boys argue mindlessly. He sat back, rolling up the sleeves of Jake's borrowed flannel.

"Hey! Sleeves down." Sunghoon prodded him with a foot while passing by. "That's the style."

"It's hot; you put me in too many layers," Kai complained, tugging at the collar of his shirt.

Sunghoon stuck his tongue out. "Suck it up; you look great in blue."

Jake glanced over. "He's right. You can keep the flannel if you want."

"No, that's okay," Kai replied, flustered.

He wasn't used to receiving compliments. In TXT, it was every man for themselves. Of course, they were all close, closer than family, even, but Kai was sure his four hyungs would choose to drop dead before spending hours dressing up and complimenting each other.

"So, Sunoo." Jake rubbed his hands together. "Brown and white?"

Jay leaned back confidently. "Or beige?"

Sunoo rolled his eyes. "Both are ugly, but I'll buy them anyway."

He added the sweaters to his cart on Jake's laptop.

"Kai," Sunghoon called, nudging Jungwon forward. "What do you think?"

Jungwon dragged his feet across the room, displaying Sunghoon's put-together outfit with a mopey face and hunched shoulders.

"Uh, it's-" Kai started.

"Wait, wait." Sunghoon crossed his arms. "Jungwon, you have to strut! These clothes require confidence."

Jungwon took a moment to compose himself before strutting across the floor.

Kai laughed, amused. "It looks great. Jungwon, you really fit that style."

"Thanks." Jungwon pulled out his phone, crouching beside him to take a string of selfies that would most likely never see the light of day anyway.

"Wait, don't take pictures yet. It's all wrong." Sunghoon ran out of the bedroom, returning with Jay's suitcase in tow. He began to rummage through it viciously.

"Ah," Jay winced, looking up. "Don't make a mess."

Jungwon slumped to the floor. "Somebody, save me. I'll die if I have to try on another pair of pants."

Jake, Jay, and Sunoo ignored him, although the middle cracked a smile.

Sunghoon stared at Kai and Jungwon. "Both of you, take your shirts off."

The boy was bossy, but Kai didn't mind. Yeonjun was ten times worse whenever they went shoe shopping.

"No, not again," he groaned, falling into his usual place of pushback. "Why can't you play dress up with your own body?"

Jungwon sat up, snickering. "It's pretty obvious he doesn't want to take off Heeseung hyung's hoodie."

Sunghoon pretended not to hear Jungwon's comment and Kai's laughter.

"Last one," he begged. "Please?"

"Fine," Kai sighed, standing up. "What style?"

Sunghoon smirked, holding up one of Jay's leather jackets.
