Over 200 years ago, on the eve of her 17th birthday, when the moon was at its zenith, Heather Santos was sacrificed. Murdered.
Death was supposed to be permanent. She was supposed to be six feet under. Instead, she was terrorizing her village trying to quelch her new insatiable thirst.
No longer human, she no longer cared about her humanity. While she hadn't turned it completely off, the switch was definitely flickering. Heather didn't care about anyone or anything except herself.
Coming back to Beacon Hills after so many years, she just wanted to kill some hunters she heard were plaguing her hometown.
She never expected to fall in love.
