VIOLET SULLIVAN doesn't have the best family unlike her best friend and next door neighbor, Jackson Fuller. For starters, her parents are barely home. Always saying that they're busy taking pictures since they say that they're travelling photographers and promise that they'll try to visit or at least call, but Violet knows that's a lie. She knows that her parents don't even care about her anymore and she knows her parents don't want anything to do with her which is fine with her because they aren't the best parents in the world.
Once upon a time her parents used to care about her. But then they got a job opportunity as travelling photographers and when they saw how much they would be paid they didn't hesitate to take the job and leave. Leaving their only daughter behind. And that meant it was the Fullers job to watch over her. Well, it isn't technically their job, but DJ and Tommy weren't going to let anything bad happen to Violet when they were literally right next door so they decided they would watch over her.
Violet appreciated the Fullers so much for watching over her and have told them many times that they didn't have to do that. DJ assured her that they all loved having her over and that she was basically apart of their family. There isn't a day though when Violet doesn't invite herself over to her next door neighbor and they gladly welcome her with open arms.
She knew that being friends with the Fullers and the Gibbler's meant that she would be pulled into crazy adventures (not that she minded because the families made her life more fun), but she never pictured herself falling in love with her best friend.
