"Can you please make me your student?"
I paused to think of what I should say. No one's ever asked me this before. The guild members heard her and are probably either malfunctioning or trying to process what they just heard.
I cleared my throat, "How come you're asking me this? I mean, why me?" I asked.
She raised her head and stood straight. "Ever since I saw you I've been getting the feeling that you might be able to help me with something I wish to achieve. So I want you to become my master to teach and train me. Please. If you want to know what it is exactly I'm trying to achieve...I'm afraid I can't tell you. I don't want to put you or anyone else in danger or get anyone of you involved in the situation I'm in. If there's anything I can tell you, is that I want to get stronger to protect the people I love. We've lost too many already, I don't want that happening again. Please try to understand that I can't tell you any more than that."
I started into her onxy orbs, only to find sadness and sorrow, a will to protect, and unconditional love in them.
"I understand. I'll be glad and more than happy to become your master and help you become strong. As of today, you are my student, Sarada."
The raven haired girl smiled brightly. "Hai, Scarlet-sama!"
"Tomorrow, 8am, I'll be taking a look at your skills. Show me everything you know and I'll see what there is I can teach you."
"Hai!"
Time Skip, later that evening at Fairy Hills.
Sarada's POVThe girls and I are back at Fairy Hills, everyone is currently in their rooms now after dinner.
I called Mitsuki tonight just like before and told him about my day as well as the fact I'm now a Fairy Tail member and that I asked Scarlet-sama to become my master.
"Your master?"
"Yeah. She accepted me as her student and wants me to show her my skills tomorrow so she'll know what else there is to teach me. I get the feeling there's alot I can learn from her. That's why I asked. Will Konohamaru Sensei be ok with this? I thought of making myself her student right on the spot and didn't think of getting his permission."
"I believe he will. I'll report of this tomorrow morning before I head out for a mission. By the way, we didn't get any leads on what caused you to enter the world you're in. We're still working on it. Once we find out how you got there we'll try to bring you back, promise."
"Thanks, Mitsuki. Sorry I got you all worried."
"It's not your fault. We're friends right? This is what we do."
"Yeah, thanks. I better go to bed now. Don't wanna wake up late. Good night Mitsuki."
"Sleep well." The white snake slid off my arm right after and slithered onto the nightstand.
The next morning, at Konoha. (Ahhhhhhhh finally getting to see what's up here in the ninja world.)
Mitsuki's POV
*knock knock*
"Come in." I heard Konohamaru Sensei say behind the door.
"I came to tell you about how Sarada is, and she wants to know something."
"What is it?"
"Well, breaking news, Sarada joined Fairy Tail yesterday so she's now what I should say, a wizard. And she asked the woman who led her to Fairy Tail, Erza-san, to become her master, and she accepted." I spoke.
"What!? She asked Erza-san to make her her student?"
I nodded. "She wants to know if it's ok with you, she got a bit too eager and just asked her without asking permission from you and wondered if this is ok. She also wishes to apologize for not asking before going ahead with her actions."
"Well...Erza-san did help her find somewhere to stay and she said she's a nice person. And Fairy Tail doesn't seem to be a harm so I'm ok with it." He finished.
"Ok, I'll let her know tonight. I have a mission to be at so, excuse me." With that, I left the Hokage's office and headed for Konoha's entrance.
"You were almost late Mitsuki nii-chan!"
A dark-blue haired girl with blue orbs and a couple of whiskers on both cheeks came to my sight.
"My bad Himawari-chan. I was talking to Konohamaru Sensei😅."
"I can't believe it. You're a chunin and you arrived later than the three of us genin." Eho crossed his arms.
"Ok, now that we're all here let's finish this mission!" Yuina exclaimed.
"Hai!"
Back in Magnolia...Erza's POV
It's...impossible. I can't find anything, not even a flaw in her to know what to teach her.
Her flexibility, agility, ability to think and decide quickly, speed, timing, MONSTEROUS STRENGTH THAT IS LITERALLY NO JOKE, offense and defense, combat ability, senses of eyesight, hearing, scent and sensing someone itself. It's all so...perfect. She wasn't even using her Sharingan yet she's able to keep up with me. I have the feeling she has even more up her sleeve. I need to see everything so I'll know what there is I can and can't teach her, so I stopped and opened my mouth to speak.
"Is that all you have and can do? Or is there something you haven't showed me yet?"
Sarada smirked at this. "Let's see if you can dodge this. Chidori!" Her eyes turned red.
Chidori...meaning the sound of a thousand birds. That explains the 'ch ch ch' sound coming from it. I dodged this attack but barely managed to dodge the next one.
"Chidori Stream!"
I wasn't fast enough. I got a scratch on my boots with this one. That's the first scratch since this started. Yes, neither of us has a scratch, bruise nor dent on any of us. Not even our clothes. That just shows how good we are and the fact that we're both on the same level. But...how? This little girl...isn't she only 14 or 15? How much did she train to master all this?! What has she been doing all these years of her childhood in fact?! Cause it should definitely take years to get this good.
We weren't even done yet.
Later on she used something by what she called 'Wind Style', 'Fire Style' and 'Lightening Style' of some sort. I'm impressed by how much she knows and can do, way too impressed, that I can't seem to find even a single flaw in her. She's already a badass warrior so...
Why did she ask me to make her my student? What does she see in me that she felt she can learn from me? Why not someone else? Or is it just her attachment towards me? No, her eyes didn't show any sort of emotion like that when she asked me to become her master.
"I want to get stronger to protect the people I love. We've already lost too many, I don't want that happening again."
Her words flooded back into my head. That's right, she wants to become stronger to carry on the goal she has.
But she already is, I mean she's just as strong as me-
Then it clicked.
Of course, it makes sense! She's using me, someone of the same level as her...to train herself in becoming stronger so she wouldn't slack off! Perhaps there's a certain time for her to go help these people she holds dearly, and she probably still has some time but wants to make sure that before she goes out, that she's strong enough to protect or save them.
It makes sense now. However...
I think I might need a little assistance in training her, this is all new to me anyway. And I know just the perfect person!
A/N: who's this person Erza's talking about? Any ideas?👀 Also yes, I'm updating alot. Finna get this book over with. It's getting pretty popular too, thanks for supporting the story moonshines💜🌙
