A lot changed in this house. More than I expected.
With Aunt Sakura and Mr. Sasuke gone, Sarada turned it into her room. Her previous room is now a guest room, which she says Mitsuki sometimes comes to sleepover and stays there. All her parents' belongings are packed and put away, some of her mom's things she uses, sometimes uses a shirt or two of her dad's since she likes them. The rest of them is put away.
Their family photo is still up, there's some new pictures in frames up on the walls, the kitchen and everything still looks the same, heck the bathroom's way damn different. It's filled with things girls use. Of course there's another bathroom, not only girls stayed in this house back then. That bathroom looks pretty normal. But I found something damn cool.
Guess.
Ok, I'll tell you, THERE'S A SNAKE IN HERE! A WHITE ONE. IT LOOKS LIKE ONE OF MITSUKI'S! WHY IS IT HERE?!
"I see you found Tsuki." Sarada came out from out of nowhere.
"Tsuki?"
"That's their name😊."
"Oh. Why do you have a pet snake that looks like one of Mitsuki's snakes?" I ask.
"You've heard that I disappeared one time right?" I nodded. That piece of news was the strangest thing I heard since I came back.
"Well one of Mitsuki's snakes was with me that time when I disappeared. While trying to get back to Konoha I had this snake as company." She explains.
"Ok but, what about the name? I mean, Tsuki? Mitsuki?"
"Oh that?" She laughed. "I made some friends while I was away you see. At that time they didn't know I was a shinobi and saw the snake and also thought it was my pet so they asked for its name and well, I got nervous and all that since I didn't even think of a name and said Tsuki out of panic. Mitsuki still teases me about it til date!"
"I can't help myself."
What the-
"AHHH" Sarada and I screamed.
"HOW MANY TIMES MUST I TELL YOU, COME IN FROM THE DOOR!!!" Sarada yelled.
"Gomen gomen😅. But wasn't I here for 3 months now? I mean..." Mitsuki pointed to the snake on the floor. And Sarada got slightly upset and pouted, Mitsuki's snickering making her yell even more.
"It's not funny😭😭"
Mitsuki just laughed more.
Meanwhile I'm just here. No idea what's up with those two.
"I'm kinda lost here but I'm too hungry to even try to get what's so funny😄." Just smile Boruto, even tho you don't get anything just smile. Ha ha.
"Hm, it is evening already, might as well get something to eat." Mitsuki says. "Sarada cooks well."
Upon hearing that, Sarada then decided to make dinner. "However! You're gonna have to help with it."
Huh?
Huh?!
"HUH?!?! NANDE?!?!"
"I don't mind😊" Mitsuki doesn't seem to have any problems.
"Oh well, if ya don't wanna help no food."
On second thought, "No, no, I'm coming I'll help!"

Sarada's POV
We're finally going on missions with just us 3 again!
And let me just say, we've been having fun. Weird right? Having fun on a mission. In the past, we'd do the mission and try to fully concentrate in order to finish it quickly. But now that it's been peaceful these days, there's not much to sweat about. There have been times we'd have to put on our game face on tho. For example, rescuing women before they get touched way beyond that, or a natural disaster where the people don't have enough survival supplies, or maybe a fight between people of different culture or whatever. I hate the lack of equality there is in this world ngl.
But overall, we've had fun. Although it seems Boruto is disturbed by how carefree I'll be sometimes since I'm captain. He's serious alot on missions cuz he doesn't want to lose more precious people. So I didn't say anything to him. That didn't have to stop me from being all fired up.
"It's better to have some fun in the chaos. Having some fun moments during a mission. It's like life when you think about it."
Boruto stood quiet behind me, waiting for me to continue speaking.
"Even during hard times when getting serious is absolutely needed, sometimes you need a little bit of playfulness in order for the light of your inner child to not go out. I guess that's why, I want to act like a silly girl during things like these. Not the first time I have anyway. I have been in life or death situations within these past 2 years and, I saw how colorful it is having someone to at least crack a joke during a really tough time. You know?"
It seems he's starting to lighten up more now.
These missions have been great memories to me these days.
...
"I smell something."
"Over there!" Boruto pointed.
"It's quite strange tho." Mitsuki noted.
I took another whiff. "Indeed. What a weird parf– scent."
"What was that?" Boruto asked.
"N-Nothing. It just smells weird."
Damn you Ichiya. I only met with Blue Pagasus twice but they're suddenly rubbing off of me. Get outta my head dammit!
...
"How do we distract them?" our client, a little girl and her brother asked.
"People like a good piece of entertainment. Especially when it's a woman. Does anyone know how to dance seductively?" I asked, and immediately looked at Boruto.
"W-What?"
"I see. Boruto's sexy jutsu." Mitsuki says.
"Ugh fine."
After the distraction.
"You looked sexy there." I complemented him.
"Thanks."
...
"Shit! Sarada!" Mitsuki yelled.
*poof*
"N-Nani?!" With the enemy confused, I took my chance to get him.
"Got them!"
"Sarada! Come out!" Mitsuki called.
"Nice work boys."
"Since when did you know the Shadow Clone Jutsu? You used it more than once which should've been the only number you could make with your Sharingan." Boruto questioned.
"It's a useful jutsu. While you weren't here I mastered it, else some of our usual formations and techniques would go off balance." I answered.
"Can't do anything without me huh you two?" He teased.
"Oh quit it."
...
"T-That's..."
I casually walked out of the electric ball that they tried to trap me in.
"It can't be..."
"The Scarlet Spring!?"
"She actually came here?!"
"RUN! GET AWAY FROM HER‐"
"YOU'RE NOT RUNNING ANYWHERE SHANARO!" I made the earth shake as they lost their balance. Mitsuki took them and Boruto used a Sealing Jutsu on them.
"Wow, the power you have is insane, Scarlet Spring." Boruto states.
"You haven't seen the real deal yet, there's more where that came from😉."
A/N: welp, TRIPLE UPDATE!! I put little scenes of them in different missions🙃 might do a bit more in the next chap and then get into business in later chapters.
