Author's POV
Sarada and her friends were able to make it out of The Bone-Chilling Forest the next day. Everyone's now resumed to following the golden lit road. And once again as usual, everyone was loud.
"How do people get so loud just for racing?" Sarada wondered out loud.
Natsu: "IMMA BEAT YOUR ASSES"
Gray: "AS IF"
Gajeel: "HA I'M IN THE LEAD-"
Rouge: "SORRY GAJEEL-SAN!"
Gajeel: "I FELL CUZ OF A TWIG?!?!"
Sting: "WE'RE GONNA LEAVE YA BEHIND GAJEEL-SAN!"
Gajeel: "Like I care."
Erza: "I'm in the lead now!"
Everyone: "NANI"
Frosch: "Fro too."
Everyone: "FROSCH TOO?!?!"
Lector, Lily and Happy: *just flying above watching the chaos, also in the lead with Frosch*
'Yare yare', Sarada and Lucy thought.
...
Two more days went by. The same cycle going on. Nothing new at all. Absolutely nothing. The team of 10 were just....there. Walking, running, skipping, flying, racing, fighting, sometimes partying or playing games, having a concert, karaoke, etc.
Some of them saw the golden lit path started to fade a bit. So they stopped for the day to let Sarada replenish her chakra. They camped out again of course.
Sarada was now sitting a bit far from the camping spot to have some time for herself. The rest didn't mind.
Gray then said he'll go check on her for a bit. So he left to find her, but stopped his tracks when he heard her voice. She was singing.
"I stay up all night,
Tell myself I'm alright.
Baby you're just harder, to see than most."
Gray leaned on to a tree, deciding to let her finish. While also paying attention to the lyrics she sang.
"I put the record on, wait til I hear our song.
Every night I'm dancing with your ghost."
He had to admit, her voice was good. "That's a nice song." he said, earning her attention.
"Gray, what's up?"
"Nothin', came to chill a bit."
"Aren't you already chill?"
Gray let out a soft chuckle as he sat on the grass beside her.
Just then, Tsuki slid on to Sarada's arm. A sign that Mitsuki's there.
"Hey Sarada, and your company, Gray." Mitsuki said.
"Hey Mitsuki." Gray greeted.
"What's up?" Sarada asked.
"Not much. Well, for me, that is. But I have news for you. Remember when I said you were probably trapped in a book? That same Fairy Tail book I have here with me right now, was investigated, and studied by Inojin's mom, and she found little traces of you in the book."
"I thought I wasn't in the book, well...the story in it."
"Yes, that's true. You're not in the story, but you're not exactly in the book either."
"Meaning?" Gray asked.
"Meaning, this Fairy Tail book was just somewhat like a door to the Fairy Tail world. So Sarada's not trapped in a book, and you guys aren't fictional. Your world is just in this book."
"So she is in another world, like she thought since the beginning, just the door to this world is in the book." Gray simplified for himself.
"Yep! Exactly that."
"Well at least you guys aren't fictional." Sarada said, turning to face Gray. Which he sent a nod to.
They sat there for a while talking to Mitsuki and went back to the others after sometime. However, Sarada had a slight feeling, that something's gonna come to them very soon. Little did she know it'll come right on the next day.
...
"Sara-chan, what are you thinking?" Yukino asks.
"I was just wondering, are there more mysterious creatures in this world like the dryads?"
"Yes, there are!" Lucy exclaimed, ready to tell Sarada and the others more from the research she has done. "There are tons more besides dryads, for example; The Screaming Lake, The Laughing Skull, The Royal Ghost, The Graceful Gargoyle, The Tall Genie, The Dirty Mummy, The Lucky Amulet, The Angry Yeti, The Devil's Bride, The Gentle Feather and The Moaning Piano."
"They sound kinda weird." Natsu comments.
"Yes, but they are a huge deal." Lucy says.
A lady in white passed by the group of friends. No one paid any attention, except the Uchiha who found her odd for some reason.
"Which ones are the most harmful?" Sting asks.
"The Screaming Lake, Laughing Skull, Devil's Bride and Moaning Piano. Those are the ones we should never bump into." Lucy answers.
Gajeel spoke, "How come they're dangerous? What do they do?"
"At the Screaming Lake, you'll hear whispers in your ears of words or sounds that you're afraid of.
The Laughing Skull knows everything about everyone and will remind you of terrible times you've once had or have done and get it into your head, laughing at you.
The Moaning Piano is simply a piano....moaning. But once you hear the moaning your mind drifts off to what people do under the bedsheets. And you'll just be there, stuck in that illusionary make out session, and won't ever come back out to reality. I sure hope we don't find any pianos on our journey." Lucy shivered of the thought.
"And last but not least, the Devil's Bride. No one has knowledge yet of what happens there with her. The only thing we know is that if you hurt her in any way, the Devil deals with you for messing with his bride. I dunno if it's sweet that he loves his wife or if it's scary of what he'll do to you. Either way, she's the one person we don't want to run into." Lucy explains.
"A Devil, huh?" Gray says in a low voice.
A slight shiver ran down Sarada's back. She had a bad feeling.
...
The wizards came across a little town after some hours, and decided to rest a bit. Some went to look around of course, being the curious and adventurous people they are.
Sarada was following behind Erza and Wendy, who were busy admiring pastries at a pastry shop.
"Here you are."
"Thank you ma'am!" Wendy said happily after taking a brown bag of goodies.
She accidentally bumped into a young woman in white right when she turned around.
"Oh! Sorry about that ma'am!" She cried.
Sarada and Erza turned their heads to Wendy, hearing her voice. They spotted the young woman in front of Wendy.
However, the young teenage Uchiha, still couldn't get rid of an odd uneasy feeling in her stomach when she saw her.
The woman in white spoke, smiling sweetly, "Well hello, darling."
