•C H A P T E R E I G H T•

I knocked on master's door and waited for him to reply.

"It's open."

Alright, let's get straight to the point.

"I heard Sarada joined from the other brats, and the fact you're her master now. How was she?" Master asked.

"That's what I came to talk about. She's all too good, flawless in fact. She's on the same level as me in everything. There's nothing for me to teach her." I paused a bit before I continued. "But then I realized why she asked me to become her master. She has a goal, and since we're on the same level, she's using me to train and hone her skills so she doesn't slack off. I'm her master, I should help her with her training and I'm glad to do so but...I want an assistant to training her. Thought I should come talk to you first. I already know who I want to help me but I wanted your opinion on it."

"Sure, go ahead. Who is it you want assistance from?"

I opened my mouth and spoke. Master thought for a moment at my choice.

"I think he's perfect for the role. If you believe she can learn and train more and you can help her with his assistance, then...I guess you know the answer." Master concluded.

"Thank you master. I'm going to bring him right away while Sarada's still on a job with Natsu, Happy and Lucy."

Right, time to head out while I still can. Assistant hunting here I go!~

Sarada's POV

"I feel sick- mhghmgmhmgmh"

"Can't help it Natsu. Your motion sickness can't be cured. It'll take about...4 more hours til we get back home. Hang on for a while longer hmm?" Lucy said.

"Just take a nap Natsu. It'll ease your motion sickness a bit." The blue Exceed next to me suggested.

Natsu changed his position to lay his head on Lucy's lap. She began combing his salmon hair with her soft, delicate and gentle fingers and he fell asleep a while after.

I'm not Mitsuki but, I ship. Clearly they like each other just don't see it.

Lucy invited me on a job with her team, Natsu and Happy are her teammates. Lucy and I get along really well, and Natsu and Happy think my 'magic' is awesome. They're pretty cool guys to be honest. Although, Natsu is quite destructive isn't he? How does Lucy put up with this everyday? But she seems used to it at this point. And she told me Happy was together with Natsu since he found his egg when he was a kid, so I guess he's used to Natsu being like this too.

Yeah, apparently, talking cats with wings hatch from an egg.

4 hours later, we were back home. I searched throughout the guild for a certain scarlet haired lady but, she was no where in sight.

"Mira-san, have you seen Scarlet-sama anywhere? Or is she on a job?"

"Erza went out. She said she's going to search for someone and left. I think she'll back soon. She left a few hours ago."

"I see. Well, I'm heading out now. Lucy invited me to her place today. See ya."

I left the guild shortly with Lucy by my side.

I wonder where Scarlet-sama went. Who is she searching for? I'll ask later.

Author's POV

Later that evening at Fairy Hills. Sarada sat down with the others like every other evening for dinner, talking about how their day went and what they plan on doing tomorrow. Which is obviously going on more jobs. So of course they brought up other topics. A topic that was brought up by almost everyone during dinner today was where Erza went earlier.

"Oh, that, it's nothing. I'll let you all know soon enough." Erza answered.

"Why not now?" Juvia asked.

"Sarada, can you help me with the dishes please?" Sarada heard Lisanna ask.

"Sure."

Erza quietly thanked Lisanna for getting Sarada out of the dining room and whispered to the other girls of where she went, who she was looking for, and why she was looking for them.

They all had widened eyes.

"You think he'll help with training her?" Evergreen asked.

"Positive. Besides, his knowledge might be enough for her, so if she gets help from him, she'll be able to surpass both him and I with the power she posseses."

"Sounds good. I'm looking forward to seeing her grow more now that you have his assistance. When are you letting them meet?" Cana asked.

"Tomorrow. After I told him about Sarada, he wanted to see her himself. So why not?"

"Hey, hey, can we stop by and watch her sometime?" Wendy asked.

"I don't mind."

"You guys know today's Friday? Let's watch something." Carla changed the subject. "We should take a break once in a while."

"Yeah why not." Levy clapped her hands.

After Lisanna and Sarada finished with the dishes, the group of girls picked a movie and ate snacks in the livingroom til it was 2am, when everyone was now asleep. Except the Uchiha heiress, who switched off the TV that continued to play while everyone fell asleep and stealthy crept into her room.

She quickly used the bathroom before picking up the white snake that laid patiently on her bed and called out to see if Mitsuki was asleep or not.

"Mitsuki...are you sleeping?" she whispered in a groggy voice.

"Why are up so late?"

Sarada didn't expect to hear Mitsuki's raspy voice.

"I can ask you the same thing. And actually, I fell asleep watching a movie with the girls. I just woke up."

"Oh, I'm watching Miss Hinata and Hanabi Sensei train Himawari-chan. Can't believe she's still going with it. This is the 879th round. Hyugas are really powerful."

"Hima's gotten strong...I can't wait to see her myself when I return."

"Yeah, you'll be in for a shock. We still haven't found any leads today either. Anything eventful happened today?"

"Went on some jobs, one of them being with Lucy and her teammates then payed her apartment a visit. Stayed there for a while and then came back to Fairy Hills, had dinner, had a Friday movie night, fell asleep along with everyone else in the livingroom and woke up which brings us back here. You?"

"Continued looking for jutsus that could've possibly been used to send people to other worlds along with Teams 5, 10, 15 and 25. I took breaks in between of course, but still didn't find anything. I'm thinking of visiting my parent tomorrow, they might know what jutsu was used. Maybe then we'll be able to bring you back to Earth. By the way...his birthday's coming up. What do you think we should do?"

Sarada thought for a while and soon came with an answer.

"We'll call each other just like every other night. Think I can get the girls' help with baking a cake, and well...since it's at night we'll be talking to each other, we'll celebrate his birthday under the moonlight. To make it more worth celebrating and not gloomy or anything, you know?"

"Sounds like a plan. I'll let our friends come as well, still using my snake to communicate. I should get going now tho. I need some sleep."

"K...sleep well."

Sarada and Mitsuki's nighttime call ended. The raven haired girl took her glasses off, got snuggled in her bed and closed her eyes, images of a certain blue eyed boy running through her mind as she fell asleep again.
