"Gabriel Florentino?"
"Yes sir"
And as soon as his name has been called by the Coach, the Vice-captain threw the ball at him, which caused a loud smack as the ball hit his large hands.
And for one minute he showcased to all how good he is in dribbling the ball before taking a three-point-shot, which ofcourse successfully got inside the ring.
Antonia jumps from her seat when Gabriel did that, thus gaining positive and negative reactions from all the girls that were present, but she doesn't care, she cares only for Gabriel.
But the Coach and the Vice, were not yet satisfied, as their basis were not only from successful dribble and shooting, but speed as well.
So, the Coach and the Vice, narrowed down the try out's into ten for which, they will group into two teams who will play then the basketball and from that the Coach and the Vice-Captain, will choose the top 3, ofcourse from the winning team.
While the two teams were playing, Gabriel exhibits a quite show as his agility/speed allows him to easily dribble, past defenders and then shoot. He's excellent also in passing the ball and knows how to read the game, thus making his team declared winner. So from that, the top 3 students were chosen which ofcourse includes Gabriel.
When the coach annouced his name, Antonia stood up from the bleachers and run to the court without difficulty.
"Gabby!" She shouts his name as excitement was pouring from her chest.
"Hey Toni."
And muttered to himself that his effort has been paid, as Antonia's happiness couldn't hide by the way her beautiful smile captivates his heart and soul.
"Congratulations, Wow! You're so fast, quick and really good at shooting!" She said innocently, that earned chuckles from the Coach and every men that surrounded them, including Gabriel, but he really tried to not give her words other meaning because he knows that Antonia is such a pure soul and innocent.
"Why they are laughing at me?" Antonia asked Gabriel silently. She wants to know what's the matter with what she said.
Gabriel just rub the back of his neck and hold her hands but not before saying goodbye to Coach and the Vice-Captain, whose name are Mr. Garcia and Luke.
The two then walk at the hallway without knowledge that their hands are still intertwined that only they found out when Antonia's phone rings.
Both of their faces turned red yet she needs to know who called her.
It's Pierre.
But she cannot answer him in Gabriel's presence so she told him that she needs to go to bathroom.
"Hello, Pierre, did you get all the IP address of all the cameras within that area?"
"Yes, Signora but I will be little late and I can't let you go alone, so I have to come and get you."
