Emiliano's rage clouded his mind and take another aim and this time towards Apollo for his betrayal but before he could pull the trigger again another loud bang erupted throughout the room and this time , Emiliano fell on the floor with a bullet hole between his eyes.
All the eyes landed on his dead body and soon to the person that end his life.
"ACE!"
"BUBBA!"
Antonia and Alessandra shout in unison.
Straight away, Antonia and Alessandra run towards Ace, who's still in daze after killing Emiliano. He was snapped out of his trance when he felt, two - pair of arms embracing him tightly like their life depended on it. At one glance at their faces, everything get back to reality and he didn't waste time to embrace them back.
"Toni, Sandy, I missed you so much."
"Me too Bubba." Sandra said while drowning in tears as she couldn't believe that her brother was there.
"I missed you too Acey." Antonia sobs while pressing her cheeks on his chest. Ace inhaled her scent and mumbled sweet words to calm her down.
Soon, both the girls relax and stared at him.
"Are you two alright?" He asks softly, while checking their faces for any wounds like a mother hen. Though, Antonia assured him that they are both fine, Ace still wants to make sure, so after few seconds and once satisfied, he decided to call his father, Alejandro.
"Hello.. Yes, I'm fine... I found them, Yes... we're at the east wing....Yes and send medical team fast, someone is injured. See you, bye."
After talking to his father, he glanced again at Antonia and Alessandra lovingly and kiss their forehead.
"Stay here, I'm going to check on him and the other kids." He said before approaching Apollo and check his wounds. Vladislav untied him already, before tending on his wounds by putting pressure on it. Antonia felt so touched for what he did to her, that's why she came to where he was sitting.
"Thank you for saving me. I don't know why you did that but I'm so grateful umh..." Antonia says while waiting for him to say his name.
"My name is Apollo and that's my sister, Artemis. I know it's hard to believe but part of me feel regrets for all the bad things that I've done, after hearing all you'd said, I realized that it's never too late to change and I think saving you could be the start to correct my mistakes." Apollo said before frowning because of pain due to his wounds. The bullet was still inside of his body, though he's far from danger but the amount of blood that he's losing is not a good sign and Ace noticed how pale he is at the moment.
