When my phone's alarm goes off, my first instinct is to throw it against the wall for disturbing me at my beautiful dream. But before I could do that a shrieking sound erupted throughout my room and the source was none other than my sister and I'm wondering how on earth she's so energetic this early in the morning.
"Bubba! Time to get up! Daddy prepared delicious breakfast." She said with so much excitement that I couldn't help but open my eyes and stared at her in awe. She's already in her school uniform, grey skirt with matching tie and white blouse with blazer. Her face resembled a happy teenager that quite opposite of mine when I was on her age, but I'm not jealous, I'm happy actually and I won't let anyone to snatch the happiness that she's having now or they won't know what hit them.
"Alright Ali, I'll come down once I'm done with my shower, okay?" I replied with a yawn. She chuckles at my action and I thought she will left me alone but the cheeky girl stays at the couch and look at me.
"Bubba is sleepy? Did you sleep late last night?" She asked in baby tone manner that amuses me and if other person asked me like that, might I respond with a snarl but because it's my sister, I didn't.
"Yeah, I talked to Antonia 'til morning." I blurted out and before she could ask me again I rushed quickly towards the bathroom.
After my relaxing hot shower, I swiftly walk to my closet and choose some fine dark shirt and pants which are all new even the shoes. Once I'm satisfied with my looks, I meet my sister who was still sitting down on the couch with her chin rested on the palm of her hands.
"You really wait for me, huh?" I asked with an arched brow, her response was just a few nods with a pout that I find so cute though.
"Sorry if I took so long, the shower was so great. Come on." I said while offering my hand to her. Her smile reaches upto her eyes and quickly snaked around her arms on my waist. She's just 13 and her height stands only at 5' compared to my 6'4" that's why she looks to small compare to me.
While we're walking downstairs few men walked around the house and when they saw us, they would immediately bow their head like we're some kind of a royal blood.
"Don't worry Bubba, you'll gonna used to their way, it's their sign of you as their future leader."
"Leader of what?" I asked her while lifting her chin up so that I could see her eyes.
"Oh. Hmmm... uh... maybe Daddy could explain it to you? Sorry but please don't tell him that I told you that, please Bubba." She pleaded
"Why? Will father going to hurt you?" I asked eventhough I know that he will gonna hurt her.
"No! Daddy will never hurt me, he loves me so much and I just don't want him to feel disappointed at me." She said softly and I understood.
"Okay, don't worry your secret is safe with me." I replied with a smile as we continue to beeline towards the kitchen that the delicious scent of food immediately filled my nostrils, causing my stomach to growl so loud. I hear Alessandra's giggles but what can I do, I'm a growing man.
