•2 weeks later - spring training, Miami Florida•

"Morning!" Freddie smiled at me as I walked into the dugout.

"Good morning!" I smile in return. We were both morning people it seemed. In these two weeks we had also became great friends.

"Ready for the flight to Miami?" He questioned, repositioning his glasses.

"Are you ready?" I asked, sitting down beside him.

"I asked you first." He looked over at me.

"I'm super ready." I laughed.

"Great. Florida's a cool place. But not as cool as me."

I rolled my eyes and stood up,

"Come on, red." I used my new nickname for him.

We climbed onto the team charter bus that would take us to the airport. All of our things were already on it because we put them there the night before.

"Here comes Kellie." I laughed as she jogged to the bus.

"I'm not late!" She announced, climbing on and sitting down beside Freddie and I.

"Hey you twoooo." She winked, holding out the O.

I rolled my eyes.

"Hey, don't roll those eyes at me." She scolded, but in a loving way.

"Alright, listen up!" Coach announced from the front of the bus as it started towards the airport that was about five minutes away.

"When we get in here, be on your best behavior," We all laughed.

"I'm not joking." He said.

"Just walk to the terminal and take your seats on the plane. Let's get it done."

"Yes sir." We all replied.

"Y'all, let's take a selfie." Freddie stopped us after we got off.

"Here, let me take it since I'm in the middle." I offered.

He handed me his iPhone 6 and I slid the camera up.

'Spring training bound!' He tweeted.

We eventually found our seats on the plane and waited for takeoff.

"What are we gonna do in Florida, guys?" Kellie questioned, flipping through an ESPN magazine.

"Work." Freddie and I replied in unison, then laughed at each other.

"Party poopers." She said with a puppy dog face.

"Aren't we having a formal party thing tomorrow night?" I question.

"Yep," Julio turned around in his seat in front of us.

"Is Mr. First baseman gonna take you as his date?" He questioned.

I felt my cheeks heat up as I put my head on Kellie's shoulder.

"Freddie's face is almost as red as his hair." Kellie laughed.

"Aww." Kellie and a few of the guys chorused.

It felt like everyone on the plane except Freddie and I were asleep, so we held a quite conversation.

"See," he whispered, opening his mouth and pointing at a tooth.

"How that tooth is kinda in a weird position?" I nodded.
