Xingqiu blinked awake, his motivation was drained and he had nothing to do, school wasn't starting again until the next week...

His phone vibrated in his pocket and he sleepily sat up, he stretched and stared sleepily at his blue lock screen, his eyes were blurry but he could still read,

Xiangling:
HEY SO UH MY INSTA STOPPED WORKING BUT DO YOU WANNA HANG OUT???

He smiled and laughed, he yawned and responded.

Xingqiu:
Okay sure lemme get dressed real quick

Xiangling: GOOD!! ILL BE OVER IN LIKE 1O

Xingqiu:
Okay lol

He sat up and put a fluffy black turtle neck on, brushed out his hair and put large brown trousers on. He stared in the mirror and fixed his hair, it was still messy even though he had just brushed it..

He hopped downstairs and was greeted by his mother, "morning xingqiu, where are you going today?" She handed him his glasses, "hey mum, me and xiangling are gonna hang out, maybe go to the fair or library" xingqiu put his glasses on and grabbed a pastrie from their bread bin

"She said she's coming over soon" he smiled and sat down, his phone vibrated again, xiangling was spamming him with pictures of her cat.

His mother smiled "Xiangling is a nice young girl, your lucky to have a friend like her" she sighed "oh, xingqiu don't forget that you have to give these to noelle, I told her that she could sell my baking at the cafe" she handed him a large tub full of different kinds of cakes and muffins

Xingqiu smiled "alright mum" soon the doorbell rang, xiangling was standing outside, xingqiu said bye to his mum and left

"Whats with the box?" Xiangling questioned "I dunno, it's for noelle" xingqiu shrugged "oh! Let's go to the cafe then, I'm hungry" Xiangling happily jogged over to the cafe at the end of their street, xingqiu slowly followed

Xiangling made a large entrance and sat on the counter "xiang... get off, that's so unsanitary" noelle sweetly nudged her "hey noelle, I brought food" xingqiu placed the box on the counter, pushing xiangling onto the floor "OOMF"

noelle smiled brightly and grabbed the box, placing it under the counter. Xiangling angrily sat at a table, xingqiu ordered a tea, hot chocolate for xiangling.

"Hey, xing, are you alright after the other day..?" Noelle asked, pouring water into her kettle. Xingqiu frowned "yeah, I don't wanna ruin the mood for xiang though" xingqiu smiled and sighed "you know.. you should think about yourself more" noelle placed his teabag into the cup, then the water "milk?" She pulled a fancy spoon out of a drawer "sure" xingqiu shrugged, "also for the hot chocolate just put everything in it" he laughed, noelle handed him his tea and he sat down infront of xiangling

"Whaaaa!? Wheres my drink!?!??" She angrily tapped the table "yours will be done soon" xingqiu smiled and took a sip, his was still burning hot.

Xiangling grumbled then pulled her phone out to play candy crush,"ah! My Instagram is working again!!" She happily messaged xingqiu a picture of shrek

"Yeah, I can tell.." he laughed, xiangling soon got a message, xingqiu looked up away from his drink "who is it?" He asked, pulling her phone down "noone!! Let me have my privacy xingqiu" xiangling jokingly held her phone above her head, out of reach "Come on!let me see!" Xingqiu laughed and reached for her phone, accidentally spilling his tea down his shirt "ah shoot, be right back" he groaned and walked away.

Xingqiu wiped his shirt with a tissue, his stomach was red and probably burnt..

He sighed and splashed his face with water, tiredly then dried his glasses and face with another tissue, then he left.
