FIRST CHAPTER OMG- 

also before i get attacked...yes i got the chapter title idea from tvd...yk "founders day party". but whatever leave me alone.

Nini's pov

"Okay class don't forget about your science project that was assigned today and is due next Monday!", Mr. Mazzara reminds us as the bell rings.

I stand up, tossing the strap of my backpack over my shoulder before walking out of the classroom with Gina.

"So, what plant are you choosing to research about?", Gina asks me while we walk to the cafeteria.

I shrug, looking at her, "Not sure...I'll probably just pick a random flower or something. You?"

She thinks, "I'll probably do daises! Because-"

"They've been your favorite flower since you knew what a flower was!", I chuckle, finishing her sentence.

She laughs, nodding her head in agreement. We push the doors to the cafeteria open, loud noises and chattering filling our ears. I follow Gina to a table but slow my pace when I see where she's headed.

"You coming?", she says.

I clear my throat, "Uh- I'm gonna go- in the lunch line..."

She looks at me weirdly before I walk towards the line, quickly.

Gina's pov

I sigh as I watch Nini enter into the lunch line, doing something on her phone. I already know why she wasn't about to come and sit at this table, but I won't talk about it. I turn around and drop my bag on the floor, taking a seat next to EJ.

"Hey", he smiles, kissing my cheek lightly.

I chuckle, "What's up? Hey Ricky..."

He presses his lips together as he slightly smiles, looking down and playing around with his food.

"Where's Nini?", EJ asks.

I widen my eyes, giving him the look. He clears his throat and goes back to facing his lunch tray. We all sit in an awkward silence while we continue eating our lunch.

I watch Nini as she exits the lunch line with her food tray, glancing over at us before quickly walking to an empty table in the corner.

"I'll be back...", I say, smiling at EJ and Ricky.

I get up and march towards her table, taking a seat in front of her.

"What're you doing?", I ask.

She sarcastically smiles, "I...am eating lunch. What're you doing?"

I roll my eyes at her, "Come! Come sit with us! Pleaaaaase?"

She pops a french fry in her mouth, shaking her head with a serious look.

I groan, "Niniii!"

"Ginaaaa", she mocks.

I gently smack her arm, rolling my eyes at her.

"You already know what has to be done if I sit with you.", she explains.

I sigh, trying to keep my cool, "Nini...you're gonna have to get over it at some point."

She nods her head, "And that some point...isn't now."

Just then, the bell rings and she gets up, throwing her food away before walking out of the cafeteria. I run back over to the table to grab my backpack and I walk into the hallway with EJ and Ricky.
