HIIII!!! i apologize for the lack of chapters but hey- here's one for ya

i, personally, love this chapter.

whether the reason be because somebody dies...or it's just entertaining...well- i'll leave that for you to find out ;)

Nini's pov

My eyes squint open and I take a big stretch, sitting up. At this point I've gotten so used to sleeping at Ricky's house that I was confused when I realized I was in my own bed, in my house. I let out a breath and let my body fall back onto my cushiony bed. I reach my hand over to my side table, grabbing my phone. I noticed my hand and gums were sore. I check the time and groan when seeing that it was 6 in the morning.

I had to get ready for school.

I roll out of my bed and stroll into my bathroom. I turn the shower on, letting the water heat up while I washed my face and brushed my teeth.

After I showered, I picked out a cropped hoodie and leggings to wear. Today was definitely a day I was not feeling. I was exhausted and felt drained and out of it. I stumble out of my room, down into my kitchen. My eyes scan the pantry and fridge and I scrunch my nose up at everything I saw. I take an apple from the fridge and plop myself down the couch to watch a show until I have to leave for school.

Gina's pov

"Okay- but what do we do about it? They literally have blueprints of her house!", I exclaim over the phone to EJ and Ricky.

Ricky sighs, "I think we need to figure out who they are first...then we'll make a move. Whether it's calling the police on them...or taking matters into our own hands."

"Yeah, but we definitely need to know what we're working with before we jump in...", EJ agrees.

"I just- I don't want Nini to be in danger. Ricky, can you like...convince her to stay at your place?", I ask, slightly smirking.

"I guess I can. I mean- I have a feeling she'll come stay here anyways...she doesn't like being alone.", Ricky answers, "And I'm sure you'd like that very much, hm?"

I press my lips together and chuckle under my breath, "Uh- well I've gotta go now...byeeee"

I hear Ricky chuckle just as I end the facetime call. I finish getting ready in my bathroom before heading into my kitchen.

Ricky's pov

I pull into the school parking lot, shutting my engine off once I've pulled into an empty spot. It was the first day back from fall break and also...after everything's happened. I sit in my car, pulling my phone out and checking the news sources. Now...Gina, EJ, and I practically know a lot of information leading to all the killings.

1)      Mayor Levine is the killer...well mostly his robots do the killing but he's programmed them.

2)      Nini has something that some randoms...assuming they're working with the mayor...want.

Knock.

I look up and see Nini standing right outside my window. I chuckle and grab my bag from the passengers seat, shutting my phone off and hopping out of the car.

"Morning", she smiles.

"Hey...how you feeling?", I ask.

She purses her lips together, "Annoyed we have to be back but...good."

"I kinda meant with everything that happened...but-", I chuckle as we begin to walk to the entrance.

"Oh—", she laughs, "Well...uh- I guess I'm fine? I don't know. It's a lot to take in, you know?"
