Nini's pov
I squint my eyes open, slowly sitting up. I groan and turn over to the side, turning the obnoxious ringing of my alarm off. I let out a breath, picking up my phone as I scroll through the notifications.
"What...", I breath out, sitting up.
I get off my bed and dial Gina's number. The phone rings for a few seconds before she picks up.
"Gi! Did you see the news?", I ask.
"Uh yeah...yeah I did.", she replies.
"How's that even possible?!", I begin to question while I get ready for school.
Gina sighs, "No idea..."
"Well...I need to get ready. I'll see you at school.", I say, hanging up and turning my phone off.
EJ's pov
"First game this weekend. You ready?", I ask Ricky while we walk through the hallway.
He chuckles, "Of course I am. Are you?"
"Heck yeah", I laugh as we stop at our lockers.
"Heck yeah what?", I hear Gina say.
I look to my side and see Gina walking towards us, Nini slowly following behind. I smile at Gina and give her a light kiss on the cheek.
"You coming to the pep rally after school?", I ask.
She smirks, "Of course I am. I've never missed one!"
I chuckle and nod my head, wrapping my arm around her shoulders.
"What about you Nini? You coming?", I say.
She shrugs, "I- I uh I don't know..."
Gina tugs on her arm, "Ughhh come on!!! You love partying!"
Nini awkwardly chuckles, "This isn't exactly a party Gi-"
"I think you should come anyways. You've only been to what? Like two?", Gina says.
Gina's pov
"I don't know guys. I- I'll think about it...", Nini says, her eyes glancing towards Ricky before down at the floor.
