My entire ankle was covered...

With blood.

Nini's pov

My eyes widen. My heart races. I nervously gulp as I stare down at my blood covered ankle. I drop the brace, quickly unlocking the door, and attempting to run out. I make it to the living room, breathing heavily as all they all look at me oddly.

"Nini! What's wrong?", Gina says, jumping up.

I give them a surprised look, thinking it'd be obvious if my ankle was covered with blood.

"My ankle-"

I look down to see my ankle looking perfectly fine. I scrunch my brows, leaning down, touching the area that was covered.

"W-what...I don't understand-", I whisper.

"What's going on?", EJ asks.

I look up at them, confused.

"I walked into the bathroom and my nose started bleeding-", I say, "A-and then...my ankle- it was covered with blood?!"

I hear Ricky chuckle, "You sure you didn't hit your head in the woods? I think you're hallucinating now..."

I glare at him, "Do you mind...shutting up?"

"Nini...your ankle looks fine...", EJ says.

I roll my eyes, "I think I'm aware of that, thanks."

"This is so weird...what's happening?", I ask.

Everyone shrugs as the room slowly turns to silence. We all blankly stare at each other, not really sure what happened.

"You know what's weird too?", I say, breaking the silence.

"Hm?", Gina responds.

I let out a breath, "Is that my ankle feels...perfectly fine."

They all look at me confused.

"What do you mean?", Gina asks.

"I mean...that it was supposed to be healing and it still hurt a little. And now...it feels fine. As if I never got injured.", I explain, shaking my foot around and twisting my ankle.

I let out a sigh and plop down onto the couch.

"Did something happen to me?", I ask.

Gina's pov

{Monday}

"Alright...who can tell me what the myth of the werewolves?", my history teacher, Mr. Lakely, speaks.

I absolutely hate this class. It's so boring. I rest my elbow on the desk, propping my head up with my hand. My eyes seem to get heavier and heavier.

"Gina!", he calls out, "How about you? Can you tell us?"

I jerk my head up, "Um...yeah the myth is...every full moon the wolves come out and will seek revenge on anyone who's crossed paths with them before."

He smiles, "Perfectly said."

I nod my head at him as he continues to talk about the myth. I randomly zone out from time to time as I listen to him speak. But he says something that makes me pop my head up, just as the bell rings. I quickly pick up my bag and rush out of the classroom, immediately heading for the cafeteria.
