"I guess so?"
Ricky's pov
The car is silent. There was no radio playing...it was just dead silent.
"I need to be back before the party-", I mention.
She nods, "Don't worry. You will be."
After about thirty minutes of sitting in this car, we finally pull into the driveway of a house that made my jaw drop. It was a huge, modern mansion. It was tall and different shades of black and white. There was beautiful gardening all around the house and up the pathway to the wall length front door. Paige parks the car in the driveway and we both get out.
I slowly close the door of the truck, still stuck staring at the house in shock.
"You're the one who wants to get back before the dance...yet you move like a sloth.", she says.
I clear my throat and take a breath before following her to the front door. She opens the door, and the inside was just as elegant as the outside. A big chandelier hung from the ceiling in the front room, greeting you. The flooring was a dark wood and the walls a bright white that lit the room.
"Follow me.", she says.
I follow her through the giant kitchen and into an even bigger living room. My eyes widened when I saw Gina and EJ sitting on the couch next to each other. There were also some other people I didn't recognize.
"Take a seat next to your friends.", Paige speaks.
I nod and plop myself next to EJ.
"What're you guys doing here?", I whisper.
"Long story...we'll tell you later.", Gina says back.
"Okay- so Gina, EJ, and Ricky...this is my family. My mom, Elizabeth. My dad, Roger. And my little brother, Brady.", Paige says, motioning to the other three people standing behind her.
" We're the Mikalsons and...we're werewolves.", she says.
My eyes slightly widen and my lips part.
"So it's true?", EJ mentions.
Paige and her family nod their heads.
"Why'd you bring us here? To eat us?", Gina asks.
Roger shakes his head, "We don't eat people...we still eat human food. But- on the days we turn...we crave killing things and the blood so in that case we'll hunt animals.", he explains.
All three of us stay in shock as we listen to them.
Gina's pov
"We're also trying to solve this murder mystery...and we want to help you guys. We're not here to spy or...hurt you all. But- most of all we can tell you want help with your friend.", Elizabeth talks.
I nod, "Yeah, we do...she's- I don't know, something's happened to her. Is- is she a werewolf too?"
All four of the Mikalsons stay silent. My heart races and my chest moves up and down faster. I feel EJ's hand intertwine with mine and his thumb gently rubs over my knuckles.
Paige sighs, "I was- I was uh getting to that. You remember that night in the forest? When your friend seemed like she got attacked?"
All three of us nod, intrigued now. I couldn't believe we were about to get answers for what's happening to Nini. But I also wasn't sure if I was prepared.
