soobin squealed loudly, looking at his phone. of course, daehwi, who was sitting right next to him, shot him a look.
"what?" daehwi looked at his best friend, knowing his antics by now. he knew it was something to do with some guy. but he wanted to hear it from soobin.
"this guy texted me." soobin explained with a huge and stupid grin plastered across his face. "he says we've met at the club before."
"which one?" daehwi asked, rubbing his temples slightly, trying to take all the information in.
"the gay one. the which i usually go to when i'm alone." soobin continued. "he's booked a room somewhere, and asks me to come. he seems like the cute and lovey dovey type." his eyes lit up, and daehwi had full intentions of crushing his dreams and hopes and telling him that the person wouldn't be like that, but then he saw soobin smile a little, the corner of his lips lifted up in a genuine smile.
daehwi didn't want to mean and ruin soobin's fun before it started. and so he looked at soobin and returned the smile.
"i should totally go, man!" soobin clapped his hands enthusiastically. "the guy must be hot, or else i wouldn't have given my number to him. i can't wait!"
daehwi was itching to start giving soobin a lecture, but no, this time, he wouldn't interrupt soobin's love life, and would just hope for the best.
"and yes i will watch my drink get poured, i won't get too drunk and i'll take my hangover pills with me too. and oh yes, if something escalates, we'll use protection. is there anything else you want me to be careful of?" soobin asked mockingly, knowing daehwi's motherly behaviour when it came to soobin.
"no, you covered everything." the other male mumbled, causing soobin to let out a chuckle.

soobin reached the bar with excitement bubbling in him. he couldn't wait. and why was that? mainly because the guy had texted soobin first, and the fact that soobin didn't have to make the first move made him happy.
he walked through corridors, looking for room number 23.
"twenty three.. twenty three." soobin shook his head at every door, until her reached the one where he was supposed to be. room number twenty three. he stood in front the brown door, which had a silver handle, and straightened out his clothes. for some reason, he could heard music coming out of the room, but he shrugged the thought.
since the music was relatively loud, if he knocked the door like a civilized person, the noise wouldn't be heard inside. so he experimentally reached out for the handle, and turned it, revealing an extraordinary sight.
guys and girls, all over the room- drinking heavily. some seemed drunk enough to pass out and some were just beginning to get tipsy, but everyone there had alcohol in their body system.
soobin was sure he got the wrong room, because he was supposed to meet only one man apart from him- not a bunch of drunkards at a mixer. he pulled out his phone and checking his conversation with the man who invited him again, and then cross checked the room number written on the door- with gold letters.
when he was sure that he was in the right place, he stepped hesitantly, slightly scared. even though soobin was a regular alcohol consumer- he only liked going to places he trusted. and this place didn't give off the best vibes.
he sat down in a corner, away from the dancing and lazily swaying people, and brought out his phone, in order to find the man to called him here. soobin sighed. he was actually excited to meet this man. but even he turned out to be a scam. or so he thought.
soobin:
i'm here, but i don't see you at all
i feel like i'm at a mixer, gosh
yeonjun:
oh, you're here?
aaah, i can see you~
soobin:
will you bother showing me your face or...?
yeonjun:
tsk, impatient
soobin:
i'm leaving.
yeonjun:
not so soon
okay, turn around
soobin let out a huge audible sigh before he turned around to see- his biggest nightmare standing there. choi yeonjun.
soobin turned back and groaned loudly into his hands, making yeonjun laugh sinisterly. soobin was so easy to play with.
"i should've captured your face when you saw it was me. you looked like a fool." yeonjun whistled lowly, making soobin stick out his tongue at him.
"you were the one who called me here?" soobin asked, annoyed. "how the hell did you even get my phone number, you assho-"
"language, soobin." yeonjun tsked. "you don't want to disobey me, right?" he said with a wink, reminding soobin the fact that yeonjun knew he was gay.
oh, the things he'd have to do to hide his sexuality from the preservative world.

"are you sure this is ethical...?" the younger boy spoke, only to be shushed harshly by his senior.
"kai, you've asked this question more than five times now, and my answer isn't going to change!" beomgyu yelled at him. "ethical or not, we're going in! now if you don't have anything important to say, then keep that lawful mouth of yours shut, okay?" he spoke in a displeased tone, rolling his eyes at kai.
the taller flinched, and shut up, giving up on hoping that beomgyu would do things his way.
they were currently in front of room twenty three, where the mixer was. beomgyu had known that taehyun would be there, and he had also known that soobin would be there. his plan was working perfectly till now. they were invisible (yes, they could do that) to prevent anyone finding out that they were from the uni too.
now all he had to do was go inside and see that no one messed up his brilliant plan.
