Yeonjun really didn't want to brag, but he's always gotten every guy that he's wanted. So why should Soobin be any exception? Right? There's no way Soobin can be immune to his irresistible charm. 

Sure, Yeonjun had been an asshole to Soobin in the start (well, he still is) but now that he's being all gentleman-ey, there's no way Soobin wouldn't fall in love with him. Just look at that man, he literally looked like someone who'd fall in love if someone so much so glanced at him. 

Mission 'Make Soobin fall in love with him and break his heart' easy-peasy. Yeonjun stretched his arms, looking around. He then glanced at his watch. Looks like they'd be boarding the bus in another 5 minutes. Yeonjun also looked around to see if he could find Taehyun anywhere. They weren't really friends per say, but you could say they were acquaintances. Not to mention, Yeonjun quite liked Taehyun's straightforward way of speaking. 

Scanning around, Yeonjun found Taehyun standing in a corner, just watching his surroundings. Now that he thought about it, he didn't really have a proper conversation with Taehyun yet. He's had quite some encounters with him. Not to mention, Taehyun was the one who invited Yeonjun out for a drink along with Beomgyu. Maybe he should tell Taehyun his thanks cos indirectly he did help Yeonjun get one step closer to his mission. 

"Hey," said Yeonjun, standing next to Taehyun. 

Taehyun turned and looked at Yeonjun, his face indifferent. He wanted to tell Yeonjun to leave but he really didn't have the energy. His mind was preoccupied with a lot of things. Namely, Kai and Beomgyu. 

"Do you think those two are weird?" asked Taehyun, pointing towards Beomgyu and Kai. 

Yeonjun frowned. What was with that question? Random much. Yeonjun didn't pay much thought to it. "I think you're the weirder one for asking that question."

Taehyun rolled his eyes. "My bad for asking a moron like you."

"The fck? I'm your sunbae, you do know that right?"

Taehyun shrugged.  "Sunbae or not, a moron is a moron."

"Why do you talk in that sort of tone?"

"What tone?"

"A condescending one. Like you're looking down on everyone."

"Ah, is that so?" said Taehyun, his voice neutral. "I probably picked it up from you."

"Ah is that so?" repeated Yeonjun, mocking Taehyun's tone. "I think you're lying."

"So what?"

"Has anyone told you it's extremely hard to maintain a conversation with you?"

"I don't know. Has anyone told you?"

"Excuse you, I'm capable of making conversation just fine."

"Yeah, that's why you're harassing  Soobin instead of talking to him."

"Harassing?! I never did anything of that sort."

"Only lonely people do that, you know."

Yeonjun threw a stony look at Taehyun. What did he know about being lonely?

"Your one to speak. Anyone can see who the real loner is from miles away."

Beomgyu tapped Kai's shoulder. "Look, look, Taehyun and Yeonjun are talking. They're probably being closer and closer as we speak. Finally, something is going as per plan."

Kai stared at Yeonjun and Taehyun. It was hard to make out from the distance but nothing about the vibe over there seemed friendly. But whether they got along or not didn't matter anymore. 

"Beomgyu, I think we should leave Taehyun out of this mission. There's no point uselessly dragging him into this."

Beomgyu frowned. "What do you mean? We need to place someone near the targets. Listen, I know you're all against the mind reading and shit but I'm not. I'm never going to agree with you on that. I have my powers for a reason and I'm going to use it. 

Kai sighed. Why did Beomgyu always get so uselessly defensive? "I'm not saying we should drop the plan entirely. I'm just saying we can drop Taehyun. Be practical, you think Yeonjun will open up to someone who he just met? It takes time for people to open up to others. We have a much better option around us."

"Who?"

"Soobin's best friend, Daehwi. I accidentally found out that he's a Grey-A. Happened to stumble across his thoughts at the convenient store. Don't you think it'll be easier if we got an insight on Soobin's thoughts. Cause be honest, it's going to be much easier to get Soobin to fall in love with Yeonjun than to get Yeonjun to fall in love with Soobin and I think the mission will get easier if at least one of them falls in love."

Beomgyu thought about it. He had no idea about Daehwi being a Grey. He was probably too focused on Taehyun to notice. He almost felt ashamed that he hadn't noticed this before. 

"You're right." said Beomgyu, casting a glance at Taehyun and Yeonjun. His eyes lingered a second longer on Taehyun. 

Kai was right. There was no need to uselessly drag Taehyun into this.

"You're one to speak. Anyone can see who the real loner is from miles away." said Yeonjun, the words spilling out of his mouth. 

Taehyun shot an ice cold glare at Yeonjun. "At least I'm not the one who uses sex and other people's feelings as a coping mechanism."

Yeonjun clenched his fists in anger. "What do you even know about me?"

Taehyun turned and stood in front of Yeonjun. "What do you even know about me? You're the one saying unnecessary shit."

"I just wanted to start a conversation. Is that really such a bad thing?"

"You're a bad person, Yeonjun. I don't want to have a conversation with you."

"Like you're any better." mumbled Yeonjun, standing in the same place. Usually, one would leave at this point. 

An awkward silence settled between them. Taehyun cleared his throat first. "Uh, I'm sorry, that was immature of me. I don't know why I reacted like that."

Yeonjun looked at Taehyun, surprised at the sudden apology. "No, my bad as well. Uh, I said a lot of unprecedented things. And to be honest, you were right about everything you said."

"You too."

Yeonjun chuckled. This was by far the weirdest conversation he ever had with someone. But somehow it felt incredibly refreshing. 

"Have you heard the song 'Lonely Together'" said Yeonjun. 

Taehyun's face turned pale. "Ew, no fcking way. Get the fck away from me."

"Aww, come on Taehyun. Let's be lonely together."

Taehyun backed away slowly. "Nope. No chance. Ew, who would've thought that this is the kind of person you are. Go back to being mysteriously hot with anger issues."

Yeonjun laughed. "Taehyunnie, you get me wrong. I'm not like that."

All color drained out of Taehyun's face. "Hell fcking no. I'm out." and Taehyun walked away. 

Yeonjun laughed watching Taehyun leave as he muttered disgusting under his breath several times. 

"That's so rude, Taehyunnie."
