soobin was an ordinary boy, living an ordinary life. but now, this lowkey felt like high school with the amount of drama he was going through.

hah, so much for having a peaceful university life.

all soobin ever wanted was a quiet (very gay) life, where he was left to his own means. he didn't want a flashy life like yeonjun, let alone even be associated with it but wow, karma turned out to be quite a bitch huh.

but soobin was going to follow daehwi's advice and conveniently ignore everything related to yeonjun.

if someone asked him who yeonjun was, he wouldn't know. if someone asked him, if yeonjun kissed him, he'd say god knows. that's how his attitude was going to be from now on.

soobin walked into his apartment, mentally and physically exhausted. standing at the front door, he paused for a second. and then, all the assignments he had came flooding his mind. all this yeonjun business had been so exhilarating that he had completely forgotten his work.

soobin walked over to his table and throwing his bag in one corner, he plopped on his desk. in his bulletin board were some polaroid pictures of him and his ex. hah, things had been so busy he even forgot to take those off.

soobin took them off and held them in his hand, staring at it. they were happy times. times where soobin believed they could actually work out but turns out, soobin just wasn't good enough.

soobin debated whether he should throw them, tear them or just keep them.

in the end, he decided to keep them.

polaroid film was expensive.

beomgyu knocked on the house door. if he wasn't wrong, this should be where taehyun lived.

of course, he didn't kai that he had managed to get taehyun to tutor him or the fact that from now on, he's doing this case on his own.

kai was way too much of a hindrance to him. no matter how sincere he was, the guy had a tendency to get attached to every single human being and utterly ruin their case.

at first, beomgyu thought it would be okay to work with him, well he hated kai, but as long as beomgyu was in the lead, they'd get the work done easily, and then boom they're back in amoretto, victorious and beomgyu would continue having a clean record.

but this case was taking much longer than he expected and believe it or not, things were going from worse to even worse.

soobin hated yeonjun. yeonjun hated soobin. they both wanted to annoy the living shit out of each other and only spoke to each other with pure malice in their words.

honestly, this case would be so much easier if yeonjun wasn't such a big dick. soobin was the easier part of the case since the said guy had a tendency to easily fall in love.

on the other hand, yeonjun's sadistic nature made the case a tad bit hard for beomgyu.

actually scratch that, it made it incredibly hard for beomgyu.

the door opened, revealing a very sleepy taehyun.

what the fck is this doing here? beomgyu heard taehyun think.

taehyun raised an eyebrow. humans and their shitty memories.

"hi! i'm here for tutoring." said beomgyu, putting on a fake smile.

taehyun's eyes widened in realization and he immediately shut the door in front of beomgyu's face.

beomgyu stared at the closed door in disbelief.

what the fck?

----------------------------------------

kai walked into the convenience store, since, clearly, he had nothing better to do.

if he meddled in the case any further, beomgyu would marinate, skewer and then barbeque him.

and kai also believed that if anything, he was a hindrance. cause no matter what one says, beomgyu was the one with the cleanest record while all kai had was failed couples.

with a grey cloud over his head, kai picked up an ice cream. since he was in the human world, after all, he should just enjoy whatever he could get here.

should i get cheese ramen or a spicy one?

kai blinked, surprised by the random thought in his head. he immediately shut it off, not wanting to hear the grey's thought. it was a breach of privacy and kai had no right to listen to their inner thoughts.

but nonetheless, kai was curious as to who this grey was. so quietly, he walked over to the ramen corner to see who it was.

kai stared hard at the person. awfully familiar face.

he was sure he had seen it before. somewhere. and kai was sure it had something to do with soobin.

kai wracked his brain. where? just where had he seen this face?

his eyes widened in recognition.

that was daehwi.

soobin's best friend.
