"soobin baby," said his ex, standing in the middle of the living room of soobin's house. "listen to me."

soobin rolled his eyes. "why the fck would i listen to the likes of you? the only reason i let you in this house is because i want to get rid of all your things."

soobin threw all of his ex's stuff into a bag and harshly chucked it at him. "that's all your things, please don't come here again."

with a sad look on his face, his ex placed a hand on soobin's hand. "soobin baby, don't be like this. i really love you."

soobin looked away. "no you don't. i'm the only one who was actually in love."

gently, he grabbed soobin's face again. "i'm not lying baby, trust me."

without a warning, he placed a kiss on soobin's lips. soobin's eyes widened in surprise. he should stop this. he shouldn't let him do whatever he wanted to do. that was not fair.

it was not fair yet soobin found himself getting pulled in like a fool again.

foolishly, soobin wrapped his arms around his neck, deepening a kiss.

even though he was just going to get hurt again.

beomgyu and kai landed in the human world. beomgyu ran to the side of the lamp post, on the verge of gagging. no matter how many times he traveled here, initially, he could never get used to the smell of the human world.

beomgyu looked to his side and there stood kai, perfectly fine, smiling widely. for some reason, that made his mood even worse.

"beomgyu? you don't look so well? should i get you some medicine?" asked kai, looking at beomgyu, concerned.

beomgyu tilted his head. "what is a medicine?"

kai's jaw dropped in surprise. "how many times have you been in the human world?"

beomgyu thought about it. "a lot."

"then how do you not know what medicine is? it's the stuff humans give each other when they're sick." said kai, genuinely shocked.

"ahh, that. i've seen it. it's called medicine?"

"damn, you know nothing about the human world."

beomgyu rolled his eyes. "my job here is to get humans together. not stroll through the city and fall in love with humans like idiots. or fall in love with this place so much that i'd ditch my city."

kai looked at the ground. the direct jab definitely hurt but he decided not to comment on it.

beomgyu looked at kai, not caring about how his words affected the boy.

to be honest, beomgyu didn't show it but he was awfully ticked off by the fact that was paired with someone like kai. he was the worst amatorian to exist, with a higher ratio of failed missions than completed ones. someone always had to go to his aid that at this point beomgyu wondered why kai was given missions at all.

he was just an idiot who was going to fall in love with humans anyways.

beomgyu stretched his finger, consequently cracking his knuckles.

he was going to show kai what an actual amatorian was like.

"let's go visit the both of them." said beomgyu, looking into the information given to them.

kai thought about it. "it's a saturday afternoon, so i think they should be at their houses."
