Finally, after all that effort, the two of them had finally made it to the nearest bus stop around them which was not "near" at all. But since they did the walk after they were stuffed with delicious food, it didn't seem as draining as before.

Soobin scrunched his eyebrows trying to read the bus timetable posted on the stand. The heat was getting to him and sweat trickled down his forehead. Kai had already agreed to take care of their things while they made their way back but man Soobin really wished he had his backpack with him right now. Soobin also wanted to tell Daehwi about this current predicament but they had just gotten over their fight and Soobin did not want to tell him that he was stuck in the middle of nowhere with Yeonjun out of all the people.

But man, he could really use his backpack right. He was sweating like a pig and those summer wipes in his bag were his life saviors.

He turned and glanced at Yeonjun who was standing, facing the other direction as if looking for a sign of any vehicle. Soobin narrowed his eyes. There was no way he was going to consider the hitchhiking option that Soobin had vehemently opposed right? Before Soobin could continue that trail of thought, he found himself staring at Yeonjun instead. It was so hot yet that man was not sweating an inch. It was pissing Soobin off. How was it that he was sweating beyond reason yet Yeonjun had the audacity to look like a sculpted piece?

Soobin internally sighed. What a waste of a face. If only Yeonjun had the personality to complement it, then he would be everyone's dream man. Soobin frowned. Wait, even without the good personality, Yeonjun was everyone's (except Soobin's, of course) dream man. Imagine the sheer power Yeonjun would possess if he actually became a proper, loving boyfriend. But looks like god doesn't create the perfect human being.

Good for Soobin though cause if Yeonjun's personality was even remotely nice, his dumbass would've fallen head over heels long time back.

Yeonjun turned and looked at Soobin. He frowned as he caught Soobin staring.

"What?" he asked.

Nothing, just admiring your face. Yeah, right. Like Soobin would ever say that out loud. "Hitchhiking is a no-no."

Yeonjun rolled his eyes. "We already came at the bus stop, why the fuck would I look to hitchhike?"

See, such a foul mouth.

"Okay, okay I was just reminding you cause you don't seem like the type to remember stuff I say anyways."

"What's that supposed to mean?"

"Nothing."

"No, answer me. What's that supposed to mean?"

"No~~thing."

Yeonjun narrowed his eyes and walked closer to Soobin, quickly closing the distance between them. Soobin had crouched down in order to read the timetable and also because he was tired, so he turned around in his heels only to look up and find Yeonjun barely incredibly close to him.

Soobin gulped. Did Yeonjun have to come this close when he had just been admiring his face? Unwarranted, Soobin could feel his heart pick up pace. He scolded himself and his stupid heart for being such a sucker for looks.

"What was that supposed to mean?" said Yeonjun, raising an eyebrow and looking down on Soobin, his arms crossed.

Soobin wanted to come back with some smart-ass retort but he couldn't come up with anything.

He's a dickhead. He's an asshole. Don't forget how he treated you before. Don't cave in.

From the corner of Soobin's eye he saw a silhouette of a vehicle approaching. His eyes widened as a he felt a sense of relief wash over him.

"Ahaaha, there is the bus! Finally." said Soobin as he got up and dusted his pants just to find out that his face was dangerously close to Yeonjun.

Yeonjun's eyes darted down.

Soobin immediately backed away a little bit and awkwardly laughed. "I can't wait to get home."

The bus stopped in front of them and the both of them got onto the bus, dropping the bus fare. They walked towards the back and took two empty seats with Soobin getting the window seat.

Soobin could feel the tips of ears burning. He didn't imagine that, right?

Yeonjun had definitely been staring at his lips back then. If the bus had come any later would they have...

Soobin shook his head.

The day his thoughts headed in that direction, that day he knew he would be cooked.

The minute the bus reached university, Beomgyu's sole goal was to get off the bus as fast as he could and head home as fast as he could. He didn't want to cross paths with Taehyun in any way. He didn't want to deal with the complicated feelings that an Amatorian wasn't supposed to have.

However, before he could do so, he spotted Kai walking towards him. Ah right, he had been so tensed about Taehyun he had almost forgotten about the massive progress they had made in their mission.

And he also had to tell Kai about what happened with Taehyun earlier. So, while his plan to dart back home still remained, he had to drag Kai back with him as well.

Although they both lived in the same place, considering Kai's personality he was more than likely to loiter around for a while and then head back home which Beomgyu couldn't afford to do cause if by any chance, he did come across Taehyun he would be royally fucked. He had no backup plan, the only plan he had was to run away.

"Beom--" started Kai but Beomgyu immediately interrupted him.

"Did you get your bags?" asked Beomgyu but before he could get a response from Kai, he glanced to Kai's side and noticed that he had already gotten his bags. "Okay, you got it. We need to talk, let's go."

Kai frowned but nodded nevertheless, following behind Beomgyu. They were just about to leave university when Kai remembered.

"Ah! I forgot Soobin's and Yeonjun's bags." said Kai. "Soobin asked me to take both of them and they would collect it from us later."

Beomgyu groaned audibly. "Quick!"

Kai nodded and rushed back towards the bus. Beomgyu just hopped he didn't strike up conversation with random people on the way.

But of course, as luck would have it, just as Kai was picking up Yeonjun's and Soobin's bags, someone reached out to him.

Beomgyu groaned once more at the sight. This guy couldn't pick any other timing???

"Hey, Kai." said Daehwi, a look of concern written across his face. "Do you know where Soobin has  been?"

From the corner of his eye, Beomgyu spotted Taehyun looking around as if searching for a certain someone. Oh fuck.

Beomgyu immediately communicated to Kai, "I have to go. I can't afford to be seen by Taehyun."

Kai blinked. "Taehyun...?" he accidentally said out loud.

Daehwi awkwardly smiled. "Ah, no. I'm Daehwi, Soobin's friend?"
